I'm ready for anything! Please watch closely because things can change like the snap of your fingers. Only buy which you love first because throwing away any food is just plain wrong.

The first "prepping" video I've seen that mentions the incredible nutritional value & speed of SPROUTING grain. Definitely worth looking into. This video is packed with excellent information, best one on food that I've seen so far.

If you live in an apartment to cook food when there’s no power, get you a Coleman cook stove with a little small can of Coleman propane start now don’t wait till the last minute.
Secondly, if you do not live in an apartment complex and you are renting a bottom floor apartment and you have a backyard dig a small but convenient hole in the ground. Do not put a shovel through water pipes. Have your local utilities system. Tell you exactly where the water and sewage lines are and when that’s done , go get some rocks for a river fairly large and the hole with rocks and you’ll have a place to cook food in if you have no power and yes, this includes in the snow. You’re gonna have to deep dig deep and work hard but it can be done if you’re hungry enough.
Lastly, if you live where it does snow in the winter Barry and ice chest if you lose power, you can put your food in a ice chest. Learn how to pressure can put meat vegetables, fruit away put the date on the lid with a pen put it in the dark where it’s cool and dry. You’ll have food it’ll be cooked. All you gotta do is heat it up .
Lastly, if you have none of the above, at least get some food in and from the patriot it’s freeze dried food. It’s real food you add water and stir or at least live pork and beans eat out and make yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. That’s all you got left. It’s better than starving.

The most basic way is cooking over a fire with a metal grate, a basic charcoal/wood grill and/or purchase a camping stove which are great to have, you just have to stock up on whatever fuel it uses if not fire.

You don't have to cook freeze dried, dehydrated or pressure canned foods.

I've been Prepping since the late 70's. Retired, I camp out often. I have 4 fire rings (2 of which are in 2 of my camp sites on my farm), several different camp stoves and a stockpile of fuel for each one, a grill that uses charcoal, a wood stove and a Sun Oven (Solar). I also have a cook stove/heater and an oven that run on canned heat (a flammable jell in a can).
