Thanks for that Lee great tips and so simple. Have to admit struggling with the pole but going to give it another go. Thanks from a frustrated pleasure angler.

Great easy to understand instructions. I have always position my roller as you have explained, but I have never thought about using 2 large strides back and one to the left (bit like a rugby kicker). I have always guessed it and faffed about trying to get it right, now I will try this method and hopefully save a bit of time setting up. The other thing, I have always struck to the right and then had to lift the tip slightly to switch it to the left to keep the tension up. Now I will get in the habit of striking to left and then start shipping back in one easy movement. Such an easy mistake that I didn't realise I was making. Some people are on YT to make money, some people like yourself are there to help others lives easier.👍

Bloodyhell so simple! I struggle and get frustrated setting my rollers up (even broke a number 4 section a couple of weeks ago because I got it wrong), and yes, I had them directly behind me. So much trying this way on my next session.

What a banger video. And full of good information. Yes the pole is the most expensive bit of kit for the match man

Some great advice, especially about having it roughly waist-height, I have been guilty of having mine far too low in the past, doh! Many thanks.
