    Thanks for this video both feeders state they are not suitable for Nematodes but you clearly have used them so I gather they work all fine.

    I am SO GLAD I bought that Ortho hose end sprayer when I bought my nematodes. I hadn't seen this, but now I feel like it was the absolutely perfect product to buy. I have one question: If you are spraying into a deeply mulched area (e.g., three inches of shredded leaves), do you need to rake that back? Or can you just spray it in well and water it in?

      Well, people, don't make the same mistake I just did. I set my sprayer (for 25 mil) to 1.5 tsps. instead of 1.5 ozs. It was taking bloody forever. That level was just creeping down. Then, when I realized my mistake and reset it, I was able to finish the job before I passed out from boredom.

    If you have 15m nematodes, I emailed to ask which setting; they said use the 10m setting (4 oz).

    Thank you for making this video. I do have some questions. What if our sprayer does not have a way to set the amount of solution sucked out per part of water? Also, I have a 15million batch but this was not mentioned when the setting for ounces was given.

    I don't think that the 1.5 TSP setting is correct for the 50 Million nematode pack. The math for calculating the proper amount for the 50 million pack appears to be 1.5 TBSP (1.5 Tablespoons). e.g. 8 OZ = 16 TBSP, 50/5 = 10 to 1 ratio. 16 TBSP / 10 = 1.6 TBSP
    1.5 OZ = 3 TBSP, 50/25 = 2 to 1 ratio. 3 TBSP / 2 = 1.5 TBSP.

      @@denathompson5382 if it's 1.5oz for 25 mil, then it should be half of 1.5oz for 50 million. That is .75oz or 1.5 tablespoon. What makes you say 1.5 teaspoon is correct?

    • @denathompson5382
      @denathompson5382 2 года назад

      @@geeyoupee Hi because it's the setting on the ortho hose end sprayer dial.. per their website. It has to be set at the one and a half teaspoons in order for the water from the hose to mix with the nematodes to do the half an acre... So that setting adjusts to how much product is coming out with the hose water.. I just did my half acre.. if the setting had been higher it would have sprayed out more nematodes and I would not have been able to do all of my half acre

    Instructions with packaging says stir well and leave solution to soak for 20-30 seconds..................Video says stir and let set 10-15 MINUTES then stir again! What??? Did I just waste my time and money?

    • @thebluestudiosart8147
      @thebluestudiosart8147 2 года назад

      I noticed that too, I went with the 20-30 seconds, but I don't think it's crucial. I mean, they're sitting in the spray canister for a half hour or however long you're spraying. Also they say they stay food for several hours.
