😮💨I love when the haters don’t win. You lost me at coconut milk mama and that’s coming from a plant based eater. Now take your coconut/banana bowl and scram! 😂
"scram" 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅
@LXSSonja lol some things just can’t be replaced. I occasionally come off my plant based soap box, for my granny dessert. I’m not compromising on nothing! 😂
@@noirking6138 Exactly. I don’t drink cow milk either, BUT there are some things you just can’t substitute with plant based products…banana pudding is one of them. I will not compromise on that.
SCRAM!!!! I love it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@MsTexas73 I think you can just probably not with something as distinct as coconut lol
Idk what nobody say Kendeicia DEFINITELY knew she was eating her own banana pudding and gave herself a eight 😂
I agree
😂😂😂
I said the same
Right!
Girl it tasted good 😂 at least I was fair and didn’t give myself a 10. 😇
Valerie being a hater, not winning, then saying "Well, you liked it because you knew it was yours." SHE DIDN'T RECOGNIZE HER OWN PUDDING!!!!
She did recognise her own, and she gave it an 8! 😂
😂 😂
She doesn't like milk
But she did recognize here 🤨
The moment I saw her I knew...
Kediecia is hilarious 😂😂 it’s the crickets for me, but she wasn’t a hater and you can tell she just tried her best especially being from Jamaica with NO experience in banana pudding. Good job, Tiffany!! I love that she wasn’t a hater either. Valerie, maybe you should take your dish to the oscars since the ton lacks elegant tastebuds…LOL.
LMAO
They needed a 4th judge, they picked theirs out way too easily lol
Agreed!
Right, like coconut milk?!! Ofcourse she would know what that tastes like
That and also maybe they do not vote on their own dish so they do not have a chance to pad their scores.
Easily? How do you not known your own dish?
@@jazzyj904 You would think, but the prospect of the guests **not** knowing and roasting themselves has happened enough times that it's comedy (and engagement) gold, so they try to recreate it every so often lol
Problem is that this time there was waay too few contestants, the dish too simple, and they were allow to score themselves. A third party judge would've nullified biases toward their own.
The blindfolded taste tests are always interesting and entertaining!
Kedecia was everything for me. It seems like she didn’t have as much experience as the other moms but still did really good. And she wasn’t low balling anyone on purpose *coughs valerie coughs*
Thank youu 😊❤
I agree!!
@@kedieciamalcolm861I love your energy
Agreed 😂😂
From the intros I expected Valerie to make the best banana pudding, until she said coconut milk. Now I think Tiffany is probably going to win.
You are correct
She probably did that just so she could recognize her own by smell and taste 😂
From the intro I felt that she was arrogant as hell.
@@zkart8038 There's always one on these episodes.
Lmfao OMG ME TOO 😂😂🤣
I feel like y’all need to redo this. Kediecia wasn’t familiar with banana pudding and Valerie saying she doesn’t like the taste of milk in a pudding? 😂 where did y’all find these ladies
One was found in a nursing home, while the other was found in a hospital! 😂
Maybe banana pudding isn’t a popular dish in other countries?
@mosesdrubahadur3255 that's fine, but why bring them to a banana taste test competition?
@@notthefather3919because even though we are from different parts of the Diaspora, it doesn’t mean that we don’t make them.
Maybe they shouldn't be able to rate their own
I’m sorry, but coconut milk???😫 Just say you don’t like pudding at that point😂
What's wrong with coconut milk 😭
I've made pudding from scratch before, but never used coconut milk. I've used evaporated milk. And LOL at your last sentence. I mean, you ain't wrong about that. 😅

Also stating that a custard or pudding tastes like milk... (which it should since thats how it was created) is silly.
“That’s a lot of banana”. You’re the one who made it! 😂
Kendecia was hell annoying me with that lol. It’s a banana pudding, what is home girl expecting????
😂🤣😂
This episode needed:
-4 judges, 1 who didn’t cook
-Blindfolds
-Same serving dish
-Scooped so the plating was the same
I agree, they all knew theirs and scored it high
...they had blindfolds and they all had the same serving dish. Did you watch the episode before commenting?
@@justjuli 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 RIGHT!
This is not true, did you not realize they had various things in it and they could tell?
You can still touch the plate with your spoon. Kediecia dropped the cookies on top of the pudding, Tiffany blended them inside the pudding and Valerie's were on the side of the plate@@justjuli
Great, now I am craving banana pudding 😢😂
Me toooo 😩
I'm currently eating raw vegan so the best I can get is a banana 🥲

That’s why you guys should ALWAYS have them taste them blindfolded because this video just PROVES who’s a hater! 😩🤣
Y'all need a fourth, neutral judge to taste and rank since there are some shinanigins with the ratings.
They did that, it low key messed the ratings up badd
@@BigSquindillous Yeah ive seen all the rankings... I prefer the neutral judge, but it shouldnt be a former contestant =p
She doesnt want pudding to taste like milk? honey its 99 percent milk lol
The person who complains the most about people normally lose
😂😂I noticed that same thing Valarie talking all that junk and hers looked the worst😂 if it wasn't blindfolded I would've declined on hers
Not trying to be funny, but I feel like it would’ve made more sense to have Black Americans do a banana pudding comparison since that’s who traditionally makes it?
Anybody from anywhere can cook and make anything. Cooking a dish is not limited/restricted to where you are from/who originally came up with it! Stop with exclusivity
@@jamdawgutube Of course food is not exclusive, that’s not my point. I’m specifically speaking in regard to the premise of these videos. We know we would not see a Black American on Africans trying each others jollof rice videos and that’s perfectly ok. I more so said that because of how sis who was Jamaican said she’s never truly made banana pudding growing up so she had to look it up which makes sense cause it’s traditionally made by Black Americans.
I'm glad that Tiffany won. She was the most gracious. Valerie was out here throwing so much shade it was like a blackout! I give her props for not using cow's milk though.
i loveeeee when its blindfolded!! it makes it so much more authentic and funny with everyones reactions!
They each used distinguishing ingredients, so of course each one knew which was theirs. One used coconut milk, one didn’t use vanilla wafers, and the other used nutmeg.
*Theirs 😊
@@bougiebohemian5393 Thanks!
Just a tad bit confused… how can you judge banana pudding if it’s not from scratch or you’re using coconut milk😂
The Nilla Wafers aren't from scratch
And you kinda really don’t even make it. This was a good idea, they just didn’t get people who really are familiar with the recipe.
@@davidalbro2009 Yes, but the “from-scratch” part is supposed to be the pudding part. I make the pudding and whipped cream from scratch, then add ripe bananas and nilla wafers. Making the pudding and whipped cream from scratch makes a huge difference flavor wise. You won’t want to use the boxed stuff ever again.
I'm with Valerie on the pudding should be made from scratch. Don't give me Jell-o pudding or chess cookies, nilla wafers only! She can keep the coconut milk, though.😂
Almond or soy milk would've been a better choice. Coconut can overpower a dessert.
A lady we used to go to church with ours chess cookies on top for decoration, but I believe she still uses nilla wafers in the actual pudding. Ion know for sure bc Ion really care for her food in general 😂
I agree, I hate that most people nowadays make it with the box stuff. I want mine from scratch. Lol
No William...CARNATION OR MAGNOLIA in the can! 🤦
@@sheenaperez1882 Same. Vanilla pudding and whip cream from scratch, fresh ripe bananas, with nilla wafers, and you have a simple but classic dessert. I know in the south they sometimes put merengue on top, but my family doesn’t.
If you're going to make HOMEMADE banana pudding, PLEASE DO NOT use store bought pudding. Make the pudding from scratch. I've made homemade pudding before. It's really not that hard, trust me.
Right! And it taste so much better, just gotta be consistent with stirring!
Just goes to show Coco Butter aint got a clue either.
@@whyyousotriggered6050OMG, yes!!! You don't want scrambled eggs lol.
@@KKemp-bt6nl 😂 yup!
These women are definitely not from the South!! 😂😂
Can they figure out which is their's based on something that might stand out in their dish? Like with the cookie in the last contestants dish.. she might know that it's hers if she could feel that there's a solid big cookie in the bowl. Just my observation! * continues watching video * 🤔🍿
How you gonna complain about MILK in a banana pudding?!??? Sis pick another battle. I knew Tiffany was gonna win 🤣
Although I don’t eat banana pudding, I’ve watched my mom and grandma make this dish a thousand times. I’m disappointed that no one put the meringue on top. My mom would scream if she burned that meringue on top 😂 Being from the south no one ever used instant pudding, it was always the canned milk and heavy stirring until you had that pudding consistency and Murray’s or Nabisco vanilla wafers. That’s the traditional southern way but everyone has heir own version.
This is the CORRECT way to make Banana Pudding.. I be looking at these puddings like........ what in the Luby's is this???!?
@@ItsmeChanon Not the Luby'sssss. You got me choked. lololol
Yaaasss!! I think it's a Southern thing😊
I eat/make mine without meringue because I don’t like it
I’ve always made my pudding from scratch. Next time I make it, I’m going to use the egg whites and make meringue. There’s nothing like making your own pudding. Instant pudding, NEVER again!
I like the added twist of them picking out their own.
If you don't like the taste of milk... why make anything with milk in it? Including banana pudding...
Kediecia doesn't have those arms that giggle underneath in order to make real good banana pudding.
Zacklee! If you know, you KNOW 😂😂
Darn, missed that part of the recipe 😅😭
Caribbean dishes always have Caribbean people making the dish. Suddenly, for a banana pudding video, yall put in every rookie on the bench? Coco Butter is dead ass wrong for this!
Agreed. This comment should be 📌
@@Wondersare209 you read the comment wrong and should apologize. They didn’t say Banana pudding was a Caribbean dish. They literally asked why the channel would have a Caribbean making it, since it’s not something that they make.
@@xoxob3329 my bad I'm now realizing what they're saying and and everything's making more sense. what I want to know is why would you have someone who's clearly from the Caribbean make banana pudding?
Agreed. They bring in people from that heritage whenever it’s a dish from somewhere in the Caribbean but when it’s something traditionally from the USA (Usually the South) they decide to throw in whoever. They should be consistent.
I guess having the variety makes it a little bit more entertaining to watch ? In any case, I definitely enjoyed making it and also tasting the others. Grateful for the critique 😇
She knew it was hers based off those biscoff cookies lol 😂
I don’t really understand which was the point of having there a Jamaican partecipant as she has said herself that this dish is not part of her culture. I think it’s kind of disrespectful because it misses the point of bringing representation of peoples heritage through food. Seams like some lazy castings.
Thank god. Finally a blindfold taste test!!!
They’ve done it before…
@@eeee8479 they mean like it's been a while since they've done it
@@prisonpreztel4591 yes! ✨
How is Kendeicia gonna say she’s got a good chance of wining when she herself gave another dish a higher score than her own
Lol being fair but at the same time being confident ? 😊
You did an excellent job. For this episode, I could clearly see the difference in tatse and texture based on your culture.
You know us Jamaicans we different! Cause I wouldn't even try Valrie and Tiffany's pudding by just looking.
Tiffany’s BP looked the most appealing. The first two looked like mush😂 I’m not shocked she won. She was fair across the board and not cocky.
I was raised on the Store bought BPs and they're just as fire as from scratch. I actually prefer the ones that combine a bit of both. When I make my own I actually create layers of either Banana Meringue or Banana Whipped Cream and layer the Banana pieces between with the cookies on top, and repeat.
You guys are hilarious! Try using Coconut milk and taste the freshness! But, only if you are a good cook. Using replacement ingredients are not for amateurs :)....all fun and all good.
Did you use regular coconut milk or lite coconut milk? It sounds good but seems like the coconut flavor would be overpowering.
Not coconut milk
YOU CAN SAY THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN AND 1 MORE TIME !!...😁😆😅😂🤣🥥🛑🙎♀🙍♀🤦♀🤷♀🙅♀
“Sophisticated palates are not for everyone “ says the woman who used coconut milk😅
I appreciate Valerie being critical of her own dish.
I love these videos! You should add more children to taste the foods.
That's a great idea
Yes because children are going to give their honest opinion.
I’mma give it a 4… ‘cause I’m generous. 🤔😂
YESS FINNNALLYYY A NEW EPISODEEE !!!!!! i love the ones where they are blinfolded
The crickets has me DYINGGGG 💀💀💀
I’ve been wanting some for a while. I love Vanilla Wafers. 😋
I mean there should still be a tie breaker since everyone knew their own banana pudding even blind folded.
A Jamaican making banana pudding…………. 😭
The non dairy might be healthier, but a lot of them thangs lack the creaminess and flavor needed for a good pudding. And Miss Lady, not everyone wants to be in the kitchen making banana pudding from SCRATCH scratch lol. Especially not when you have kids and not enough time. 😅 Jello in da box is fine with me!
just bring in a 4th judge instead
I want some banana pudding now hold the bananas though 😂😂
So you basically want a cookie pudding
@@shanquegreen1720 basically 😂😂 I’ll take a few bananas but I don’t like a lot. I enjoy the cookie part more
@@shanquegreen1720 and what about it? Lol
@@Porkchopzngravy sis😂😂😂
😂😂😂 I do the same thing I take the bananas out and just eat cookies and pudding
As long as Valerie didn't win
So grateful as a South African we don't have a banana pudding cause apple pie was my introduction to "you know what God bless the world but thank you it's not a main dish here." Can fruit just be fruit (don't attack me😬)
How did the younger girl think hers was gonna win when shes never made it before? Was she a fill in lol
Lol no I wasn’t. I guess the variety of competitors makes for a better watch ?
I like the blindfolds but I don’t think the contestants should know they’ll be trying their own 😭
they should have random taste testers because as soon as they realize it's their dish, they fudge the numbers. they should try their own then have random people taste it and comment on their favorite. it would be dope if each taste tester would say what their preference is before they start so that the audience can know if the dish was bad or good and if it is because the taste tester has their own preferences not from the dish itself
Agreed.
Why do y’all call people haters when they want to win? There’s a difference between hating & being competitive
I’m on week 2 of fighting my banana pudding craving and this video gets suggested 😭
Y’all need a 4th judge… I volunteer as tribute!
How tf yall gonna call Valerie a hater?? She got second and ole girl recognized her own Bannana pudding.
Did she say Ovaltine? 😂
Coconut milk in banana pudding wtf?! Trying to be healthy is all good but classics are classics for a reason!
If your banana pudding is yellow I don’t want it 🫡
Every mom on here look so classy and gorgeous 😍 I love to see it ❤
😊 thank you ❤
Thank you!
This one was good! There was healthy competition and it made it fun to watch, good job to the ladies
You cannot fake the funk with banana pudding.
Kediecia talking about not knowing a fantastic banana pudding when they see one. She admitted that in Jamaica it's not really a thing so how would you know if a RUclips recipe resembles a good and proper banana pudding? I wouldn't know if a pierogi recipe I would find on RUclips and am making is tasting like pierogi should taste. I am assuming that the RUclips cook knows what they're talking about but it's always an unknown when you yourself don't know.
So in other words, you wouldn't know a 'fantastic banana pudding' when you would 'see' one either. Just one that tastes great according to your own palette which is definitely fine but should be worded as such.
I love the smell of nutmeg. Love it in my porridge. 😋
🇯🇲 & the next girl use ovaltine cookies 🇯🇲
Big ups 😊
@@kedieciamalcolm861 Big Ups 😄
"This is gooood! If this is not mine, then I need the recipe" sent me 🤣🤣🤣
I make mine with coconut milk, heavy on the banana as well. It’s delicious and my mom told me it tasted like her mother’s.
How the girl from Jamaica gone say they don’t know good banana pudding when she JUST started making/eating it 2yrs ago?? 😂😂😂
Where's the meringue? Layer sliced bananas and vanilla wafers in a baking dish, pour warm "from scratch" vanilla pudding over them. Top with meringue and bake in the oven at 350 until the meringue is golden brown. That's Southern banana pudding.
Banana pudding is my favorite dessert on Earth! Don't fcuk it up!
Kediecia trying to pad the scores by adding nutmeg to banana pudding. Knowing good and damn well after watching all those YT videos we don't add nutmeg.
So, no one is making an egg custard and baking banana pudding with a meringue on top anymore??? Anybody can make box pudding with sliced bananas and cookies. That ain’t for the culture… 😂
ruclips.net/video/1lj0dbUwRHU/видео.html
My grandma used to do that but my siblings didnt like how the banana turned brown. So she took the bananas out. Now it's just all cookies no bananas but still good. I made mines too sweet but it was my first time.
@@michaelajefferson2874 I’m the same way lol I don’t like the texture of the bananas that’s why I prefer the mix 😂
That shit is nasty

None of these banana pudding looked good. But why did they even have someone who is not ADOS as a judge in an ADOS dish🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️? How would they even know what it’s supposed to taste like to give any critique 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
For classic African American dishes can we stick with AA contestants?? Or at least ppl who will respect the food and not "go look up a recipe since it doesnt exist in their culture? 🙄🙄 Same as when there are Caribbean guests they're usually all Caribbean, which is fine.
Lady in white is a hater. "This is actually good, maybe I'm hungry"
And it's supposed to be milky!!!
See, they think they slick, but nahhh. They should make requirements on how dishes should be set up (like wafers must be on the bottom and the pudding must be a creamy consistency). For instance, sis w/the wafers lining around the bowl, like she couldn't feel for that to know it was hers or the other one who put a giant lorna doone shaped raft of a cookie on the top...lolol
Girlllll, you tried it. Yall really did. It take me back to that criminal contestant who put sprinkles on they RED VELVET CAKE, which they proceeded to feel w/their hands. They really do the most in these, and they need to start keeping it cute and go to church and seek redemption.
im not a mom but I'm a aunty and my Banana pudding isss the best hands down . can I be on the show please😂😂❤❤❤❤ I'm in New York
I would think coconut milk would be a distinct flavor so you should def know you either made it or not and why that lady use Ovaltine ? Isn’t that a chocolate drink
Always need a non bias judge when doing these types of competitions to make it more fair ….it’s not 🚀 science to determine which is yours especially having a whole ovaline biscuit in there 🤣🤣🤣👀
Jamaican saying there’s too much banana in banana pudding…..
In other news, white contestants say there’s too much spice in curry chicken
Valerie: Whatever isnt mine is store bought or not prepared from scratch!
🌹🌺🌷🌸Happy Mother’s Day! I love these blindfolded episodes. Banana 🍌 puddin’ is ALWAYS a good treat ESPECIALLY when it’s made RIGHT! 💯
Why use someone who dosent make it normally and uses RUclips. How can they judge something they know nothing of
Ole girl knew it was her pudding so she was gna cheat n give herself a 10 even if her shit was mid..this when u gta bring a 4th random person in to taste test n vote to counteract that
Eating banana pudding “The banana is overpowering”. 😂.
nutmeg, or anything in the mace family, does not belong in the culinary spectrum - it is an anesthetic - and tastes like one
I really can't stand a person that just seems like a hater on here. It makes me think you are insecure about your cooking
Why they set the Jamaican girl up like that😂 ya know they don’t make no dag banana pudding
Listening here I know some of these gonna be complete Ls🤣
They wee all funny but Valerie had me laughing out loud. She is huhlarious. "Oh baby.... I give it a 4....generous." Lol
If she doesn’t like milk she shouldn’t be eating or making banana pudding.
The winner used Ovaltine biscuits.
I like Ovaltine biscuits a little bit, but
I have never had Banana Pudding before, but always wanted to try it since I love Nilla Waffers( Nabisco brand and most brands). So definitely would NOT want to try the winner's version first even if it's really good. I'd want it as close to the original version before I taste variations.
It's like give me a basic cheese cake first before I try Oreo cheesecake.
None of these look right but I’m from the Deep South so of course we make everything traditional😂
Gotta love when the hater loses, it's so juicy lol.
Fun fact : they did not see the banana pudding... so, what is she about on? 6:57
