    Nice video. The warming effect of greenhouses gasses is in place for 1000 years plus. The aerosols produced by industry that cool are gone at most, 6 weeks. So we would cook quick without industrial aerosol cooling effect. We are in a no win predicament unless we can solve this.

      By gradually lifting the total carbon of agricultural topsoil we could sequester CO2 and store it where it needs to be underground. At the same time we must start to slowly bring things into balance by reducing fossil fuel emissions. Coating seeds with high grade fixed carbon loaded with beneficial microbes as well as mycorrhizae and minerals would make this sustainable as well as ween the Agri industry off expensive and harmful chemical inputs.

      Till a point when greenhouse takes over the level of industrial production and the capability of aerosol production...

    • @grindupBaker
      @grindupBaker 5 лет назад

      Dunno what you mean by "both", both what but anyway IPCC AR5 table has aerosols effect at 0.87 w/m**2 of cooling but with high uncertainty. Wait if by "both" you mean cloud effect and reflection effect I recall it about 50/50 so ~0.44 w/m**2 of cooling for each effect but that's a bit off. Hang on scrap that I found the table, it's 0.40 w/m**2 of cooling for cloud effect and 0.97 w/m** - 0.64 w/m**2 for the soot on snow = 0.33 w/m**2 of cooling net for reflection effect. Look at the table yourself, it takes too many words.

    If you reduce aerosols it will only be warmer as we did 2021 under covid science say the earth did get hasty
    warmer. So "damn if you do damn if you

    Satellite data from 1984 to 2009 indicates a 6.8% DECREASE in cloud; mostly lower clouds.
    The increase in solar energy reaching the ground AND the less radiation reflected away (because of less cloud) leads to 7+ times MORE warming (forcing) than CO2. CO2 is basically IRRELEVANT. GETIT? (See John D.Maclean's paper, James Cook University, Oz. 2014.)

    • @grindupBaker
      @grindupBaker 5 лет назад +3

      "The increase in solar energy reaching the ground" is the same thing as "AND the less radiation reflected away" because it reaches the ground because it wasn't reflected away. However, it's an actual science snippet for me to find, study & discern the fact of so that's fun at last after a long fun drought or fun hiatus, thanks. Seems unlikely that WG1 climate scientists just completely missed that what with them being scientists and all. Seems ~999,999,999,999 as likely that it's just another fun coal/oil shill meme for the coal/oil shill-fuckwits to bandy about but either way it's fun for me at last as I check it out. Thanks for that.

    How does global dimming play into this?

    • @grindupBaker
      @grindupBaker 5 лет назад

      "global dimming" plays into it a lot because the video is about "global dimming".

    • @shaburbalak
      @shaburbalak 5 лет назад +2

      She never says "global dimming" and she never mentions a tempature rise of 1 to 3 degrees Celsius. Thanks for going out of your way to be a complete dick to a total stranger.
