Hey Joey! If I didn't spend my first half of the trip closer to Waikiki Beach (near the Royal Hawaiian), I would say yes, I would miss that location! The Ritz isn't too far from the location of Royal Hawaiian, but I think it would depend on what you plan on doing!

Did you miss the beach front location at the Ritz? Debating about booking here but wasn’t sure if I’d miss the location of the Royal Hawaiian.
