ツユさんの曲ってニュースでたまにみかけるなぜあの子が…って言われる あの子目線の曲って感じ💭
(あんなにいい子だったのに…とかおとなしい子だったとかいわれてる)
周りの目を気にして普通の人を演じてるけど実際は既に精神が崩壊寸前で自分でもそれに気づいててでもどうしようもできなくて…みたいな
そういう子の胸のうちをうまく表現してる気がする
補足ですけど
曲の主人公らが感情爆発して犯罪者になってしまったわけじゃなくてただ世間からみて大人しそうとか真面目そうな子らも何かしら抱えててでもその感情を周りに悟らせず自分の中だけで解決させて終わるから曲によって救いようのない子もいたりもするとこが本当リアルだなぁと
こういう感情を持ち合わせてしまった人の末路やその結末までの流れ、感情の波がどれも人間味強くて感情移入しやすいとこ魅力的だなぁと思います

このコメントで考察してみたのですがこの曲は「昔は良かった」みたいな感じなので多分女の子は昔バレエで何かしらの名誉を貰って怪我とかでバレエが出来なくなってしまいバレエ以外の事が上手く出来なくてそのギャップに苦しめられたんじゃないかと。

Sometimes it’s not as bad as you think, but I feel it’s a good thing as it somewhat enable you to act, but the important thing is the present. this is actually my favorite song by tuyu, this song comforted me back then and the comments section made me feel like i'm not alone, it really makes me sad that tuyu won't be able to make a song like this in the future i'm not justifying pusu or anything, i am disappointed and i think he got what he deserved but i think i'll miss rei's voice

私も昔バレエやってて、プロを目指して頑張っていたけど、経済的な事情と摂食障害の発症で諦めざるを得なくて、過去に囚われ続けているので、この曲このMVにはとっても共感するし

But please, think about it: Life has its ups and downs. We wouldn't be able to recognize the good times without having the bad times. So, let's just all endure it until we're all good. Let's just hope that it'll all be good in the end.

白←過去の輝いていた頃の自分
黒←白い頃の自分に執着している自分
昔は凄かったはずなのに今は普通の事しか出来なくなり昔は良かったのにと過去の栄光に執着しすぎた結果｢自分は空っぽ｣だと思い込むようになってしまったのかも。
エレベーターが降りていくにつれて色が変わっていくのは｢自分｣に対する気持ちや評価の変化でスポットライトを浴びていた白から何も秀でたものが無くなりライトを浴びることがなくなった黒になりもう一度あの頃に戻ろうと必死でもがいている様を思い浮かべました。
最終的に死のうとはするもののそのままの自分でいいから前に進もうと気持ちを入れ替え黒いありのままの自分を受け入れる事が出来るようになったのでは無いでしょうか？

This will be my most favorite song from Tuyu, I can't express how much I think about wanting to end my life thinking everything I do is insignificant, and wished I was still a naive kid, this song ironically saved me knowing that I'm not alone, and there are people who think the same, It made me try to continue life despite its flaws.

Japanese songs are so much more emotional than english songs, the songs tackle more on issues and problems that regular people are actually going through. And they do that while still having great lyrics and amazing beat and instrumentals

You see the part where she dances under the spotlight, it was when she flourished and prospered. She was extraordinary, she had status and popularity. In other words people looked up to her. The elevator symbolizes her life going downhill, and now for she has hit the lowest point, she has nothing left. She no longer has the privilege to look down
It's ominous, every symbolism fits my experience to the T. Since being trapped in the past, before I realized, my ego had split into two counterparts: the me now and the One who was so exemplary. A lingering phantom, who I can almost visualize so vividly, my superego who brutally judge myself by its good ol days' standard. And how do one who peaked satisfy themself? To be truly trapped means even if you look ahead, you still find the past haunting your every dreams. My motivation to learn doesn't stem from my inquisitiveness, but my pitiable endeavor to get closer to what I used to be, shamefully so. I try to make vanish of her by avoiding everything past-related, my friends, old teachers, lest confronting the fact that I'm only the imposter. She's the real me, after all, everyone admires her, awaits her? But keeps jeering at my failures instead, why won't you come back here!

I can relate to your post. I also used to be pretty “cool” I suppose in what people considered me to be. I made fun of the people that I knew were “weaker” than me and hung out with bad folk. But now I have learned from that by accepting myself from way back then and fusing it with who I am today. It has given me the opportunity to protect others instead of hurting them. So I would just like to tell you, it will get better. One day life will just change to the better and you won’t have to worry anymore. When you accept yourself you will find all sorts of good things about your past and present that you can fit together in a puzzle. I mean haha, in my book you are already a cool person because you listen to this song. So just keep your head up and walk proudly making new friends and family along the road of your life :)
And in the end isn't like going to the beach another way for others where they try to commit suicide? I mean by drowning yourself. I'm not saying that she did commit suicide really, just a possibility.
Thank you for this, your message is really inspiring :) I'm not yet in the place where I can ignore my past self, because the huge mistakes I made are recent and still feel I should have done things better, like how the past me who was smart and popular probably would, but I hope to be able to think like this someday.

Because throughout the song, she says that she lost hope, ‘you,’ her status, and her popularity. Because of that, she decided to walk to a nearby beach to commit suicide. “Now you’ve seen the me that you were never able to stop.” It’s saying that ‘you’ couldn’t stop her from committing suicide. It also says somewhere in the song that she wanted to drown herself in a puddle.
So I wouldn’t:t say that the song’s meaning is ‘Giving you only one option, and that is to just live now,’ because she died in the end and that wouldn’t fit very well if that was the meaning.
In this song, the girl looks back on her past and realizes she was so much happier back then. "Life is something I completed long ago." Like you said, this girl thinks that the only way is to look forwards, but when she does, it black, black, black, black. At the end she comes to terms with the fact that she'll never feel as happy as she did in the past and "since I'll die at the end anyways", she commits suicide.

I used to have alot of friends. In middle school and the start of highschool. But I never really felt close to them. Then near the end of 9th grade and 10th grade I was alone. I found myself with no friends anymore. I got plunged into the depths of loneliness. Whenever I was close to getting out I got dragged back in. It got to the point where I became close to invisible. No one was able to see me in school and recently at home too.

For me its kinda the opposute of that. In elementary school i was bullied and had no friends, but at the end of elementary school and in middle school the people bullying me suddenly became nice to me, and i gained alot of friends. But now i dont feel like my friends hang out with because they truly want to, but just because its convenient for them, and after graduation everyone who hangs out with me will just forget me and continiue living. So i feel like i just forget about myself and help them with everything i have just for the hope of someone saying "hey, i really care about you. Thank you for being you."
its kinda the same for popular kids (like me) I had been praised for president in middle school, I was even called the smartest kid in elementary, im kinda the narcissistic smart kid who wants everyone to know my greatness, But at the same time I dont want to handle too much friends that only rely to me, When you're popular you expect people to rely and call out to you, and you dont want to manage everything yourself.

This is one of those songs that feels like you relate or have a connection too with it. The music video is really amazing, this is something new from TUYU, the music video have its own unqiue style, the dance is so beautiful and satisfying to watch, the lyrics and the melody were amazing. For me, this is such a "feel good" song!
