Your videos are next level. It's been a major inspiration to my setup, and following along with how you write and think through the design and coding approach has been enormously insightful in extrapolating "ohh interesting I could do this for my setup," in a way that is rarely captured from folks who just direct you to copy the code. Great work. Also -- I think the length is pretty good, but for complex things I do feel it'd be beneficial to add an extra 30s to explain what's going on or elaborate on potential use cases / design considerations a bit more. You've got a fantastic intuition and insight for design that IMO should get more air-time, if the goal is to inspire and teach others. Great work!
Yeah I will. Im sorry its taken so long. Im just trying to figure out the best way to do it. Ive spent a lot of time creating my dashboard, I dont think its possible to create a 10 minute video about how to create the whole thing from start to finish. Thats why Ive been doing sections, so I can link to those videos for more in depth.
@My_Smart_Home an overview video on the general approach, layout, and any themes would be a great intro to all your other videos. I do realize "it's very actually done."
Realy love the chanel. It is one of my go to home assistant youtube chanel now. I am working on a reminder section for daily monthly and weekly buttons changing color and icon. Would consider making something like that too ? Dashboard tour would alao be nice to see. Keep up the good work 👍
Would you consider do a video about creating a theme from scratch? I've no knowledge about css and an explanation about basic and more advanced stuff would be really helpful.
@@ChrisLaycock1 For a stop start thing I think you'll have to try some fancy CSS animations, but not sure if thats possible with only Button Card. Posting full dashboards sure gets a lot of attention, so thats on the cards from me as well :)

Will you ever show your entire dashboard? Perhaps a video of how you created it?
Yeah, that would be interesting to see

Hey, but marquee tag isn't deprecated? On iPhone performing very ugly (glitching, like 15 FPS)
Очень крутые ролики делаете, часть ваших идея я использую в своей панели. Продолжайте дальше, у вас отлично получается)
Do you know of any other marquee behaviours?
Left, right, up, down and alternate. But I cant get them all to work for some reason 🤔
@@My_Smart_Home 🤔 I would really like for the text to pause when it reaches the end for a sec, then resume
@@My_Smart_Home Great vids by the way. I posted my dashboard on Reddit yesterday. 🤗
