You need to use your break. While there were many bad drivers in this video you also were not good. There were many times you blamed the other drivers and it was on you. Leaving room means a cars width through the entry, turn and exit not just the turn.
I do think I was using it… the car was stopping… 🤦🏼♀️ I do try and make sure to let someone through if I’ve not left room, hit them etc. No ones perfect, and my intent is never to hit anyone 🏁

I'm also B license but on controller, the only difference between C an B is that the murderers are fastar!

I love using the red on the road, but not the bling "brake." A couple of times I kept falling asleep during Manufacturer races, and the red helped me because every time I woke up I didn't know where on the track I was. us, my mjnd is always thinking about 10 things at once, so the red on the track snaps me back to attention. I know where to brake without it. I use the boards and other various markers just like a the people who tell others what to do with their video games.
Thank you! 💜 I wish I could, but I need them (blind in one eye), Brazil is a difficult track for me with the long straights, and not being able to see all the way 😞 I wish I could turn that big “BRAKE” sign off though 😂😂
I totally get that! ADHD as a kid, I would forget what I was doing 😂😂 those markers are great for helping you to know when it’s time to brake. It’s all about enjoying the game, however suits you best 💜
Agreed get rid of the breaking zone markers, Those are for true amateurs
Look down the track further you can see the timing for breaking, imagine your line through every turn prior to reaching it and execute. You are a good driver so you can do it🎉

It doesn't get better. They just get smarter about tipping people out even though they should be getting penalties they don't.
I was in this race with Kimi Velocini yesterday - he was surprisingly well behaved. He came third and I came fourth but led him for a good portion of the race.

You completely rammed that guy and his horrible track re-entry. Just because he broke a rule doesn't mean you can execute him on-site when he rejoins the track. If you see someone rejoining badly predictably, lift off the throttle and dodge him.
Your infraction was minimal though compared to that absurd driving they called racing. Those emotional crybabies need to knock it off. It makes our player base look ridiculous to the sim-driving community.

D is cleaner than C.
PD could fix this. If contact causes a car off. Both cars are slowed/ghosted till they can re enter the track
I've been to A+ and back to C, and honestly C was probably the cleanest races I've had. It's a shame there are so many morons hell bent on just ruining peoples races. On the short shifting note, you weren't revving the Ferrari high enough. You need to use all the revs in that thing. Easiest way too short shift the 650 is change when the rev bar is halfway, easier than trying to watch the actual rev counter. Nice racing, from your side anyway 😂👍

The SR is really what determines cleanliness in the race. I have a B DR as well but S SR and ive had really cleab races ever since. I dropped down to D DR a couple weeks ago vut my SR stayed the same and the races were still clean

Are you using brake balance plus 5? That 650 steers like a dream with that, you gotta back out when people are fighting like that. They’ll both die and you can drive right through

I guess it makes sense that dirty driving gets worst in B rank compared to C rank, because the pace increases ontrack, meaning that there is less margin for error, and if errant/dangerous moves are made with more speed....🤦🏾♂
If you practice shifting the Macca over the white gear number you'll soon get used to the sound of the revs and it will become natural
The B is for "Bashing" in the B class (I know too well from experience). When punted I usually finish the race, then I lose driver rating go back to C, go well then back up to B and on and on. Good races though (over take at 11.30 was really nice). I think Id watch more of your stuff but I find the red brake zones too distracting (though I understand why people use em).
Although im getting mad just watching people cant hack getting overtaken by someone going faster... Umm its racing mate, dont play dirty, knuckle down and catch up clean!

Had to read the title again to check I wasn't watching Forza, driver resets all round required. I would have pitted lap 3 to run atleast 2 laps in clean air and get a huge undercut the amount of time folk must have been losing due to the actual fighting going on lol
😂😂😂 it was giving Forza vibes 😬😬😬 I couldn’t get the undercut down, but tbh, when the battling was going on, I did pit early just to get away 👌🏻

Thank you! I have a mixed feeling about assists, line for me is important because of being blind in one eye, I don’t think I could play without it. But once you get up the ranks, it’s a natural progression to turn off assist, with learning the games physics. But I always say, it’s how the person enjoys playing the game, that’s what important 😊😂

i moved up from C to B this week and boy, oh , boy the driver standards in B are appalling!!! Constantly ramming and forcing themselves into gaps & overtaking positions that do not exist...one race i was 9th on grid got upto 6th by the end of lap 1 and then some moron decided to divebomb into Turn 1 and punted me off into the shadow realm.... so difficult to move up in B
That’s so sad! I had a couple of good races, but the standards don’t really improve 😔

Congrats on B licence 🍻 I'm A ranked and what I found out seems to be the time day or night you race for me the best n cleanest races are at night when all the kiddies are in bed and trust me I've raced a bunch of different times and the later the better but that's my opinion. Give it a go see what happens? Maybe see you in A ranked races and I promise I won't wreck you I'm clean as you can get! I'm a ex racer in irl so I know how to race. Imo nobody who plays with all assists should be allowed to get past E rank in anything
I agree that it’s a natural progression to lose the assists when coming up the ranks. You should have a basic understanding of the handling model by that point. For me, I use braking markers so I can see, (blind in one eye) without them, I don’t think I could play 😔 people play how they feel comfortable, and if they enjoy it, then let them be 🏁
Sadly, good driver skill doesn't equate to good driver behaviour. It does get better though! (Although you will always meet idiots along the way...)
You're defo doing it right though, improving your own skills and trying to stay clean will continue to see results and the climbing of rankings.

Did my second online Multiplayer 'Race Yesterday started at grid spot 3, i got pushed bumped and punted as if we was at a amusement park. They were trying to make contact rather than avoid it? Is that what online racing is theese days, cause if so its not for me in particular. Needless to say that ended the Mulitiplayer aspect of the game for me. If i wanna play demolition derby id go back to the ps2. I can see that style of driving being fun but it wasnt enjoyable to me. Ill stick to hot lapping and doing liveries instead cause as your series and title suggest It wont get any better. ;)
Aww that’s disappointing 😞 As much as there is a lot of dirty drivers, there is still many who drive cleanly. The further you go up the ranks, the better it gets! Hopefully you have a better experience 🤞🏻

Races in B are worse than C in my opinion you have loads who just want to punt there easy to the topi have stopped racing online and only do league races with proper players

😂😂 I mentioned it in the video, I was upshifting way too quickly 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ it’s the half way point where I eventually found the sweet spot 😂😂

I tried it in one of my races, but that undercut didn’t really work out for me 😔
Just my two cents here, some food for thought not not relevant after all...
You know, I believe that when youtubers like us give dirty drivers our audience by making videos like this, we're just giving them the incentive to keep doing it! PD won't take any measures to change it, even because a big part of the audience likes the chaos and stuff... I could make videos like it and attract a lot of viewers and subs, I'm pretty sure it's good from that perspective, but I'll never give those ppl my audience! That's why in my videos I don't even show the drivers ID's and when it happens, well it happened, I can't control what other ppl do, just what I do! So moving on and always trying to improve myself and correct my own mistakes.
But again, just my two cents, not important at all!
Tbf, 90% of my races involve some kind of dirty driving, hence calling those videos that. It’s about my experience and seeing the fun side of racing, it sharing how bad it really is!
It’s personal preference & for me, I’m happy to share my experience.

You’re grannie shifting way too early which is why you keep getting passed on the straights. You’re not using the car’s full power band ..
Just FYI, the McLaren GT4 in GT7, requires up sifting earlier, whilst I was doing it a little early… the way to max out pace in that car, it’s up shifting earlier 👍🏻
The McLaren has a very high rpm range so that you really have a wide power band at your disposal while shifting through the gears. I’m sorry, to your point, I just don’t see how you’re maximizing pace in the car if you’re shifting so early. Hence, barely using the power of the car as the engine does not have proper time to build the power through your revving out the power band. Just food for thought. People normally will shift early in the car if you’re looking to save fuel in which you are not using the full power of the car. You wouldn’t shift early to maximize pace in a race car.

@@JustHunGaming nah you're actually PRETTY good. a lot of Gr4 cars do have shirt shift points and I've found them much trickier to drive than their Gr3 counterpart. McLaren Gr4 needs short shift but not the Gr3. Gr4 Ferrari doesn't need short shift and I don't think the Gr3 does either

If penalty system keep this way, dirty drivers Will keep destroying other players fun. Its sad poliphony doesnt care about it. I am almost near to cancel my subscription of ps plus because of That. I have ps plus just because of sport mode but i am getting tired of this kind of behavior.

I had a clown knock me off the track on Autopolis Gp and for his stupidity I knocked him off the track just to let him back on to knock him off again for three full laps. I drove the point home don’t screw with someone who’s night and day faster than you are 😉🤣

Thank you lovely! 💜 I can’t speak for controller cos I’m on a wheel, but friends who have gone from controller to wheel have said it’s much better. Things like tire wear is better, and you can feel the car much more, so helping you to get quicker and save the car more easier. If you buy a wheel, start with something second hand to see if you like it, incase it doesn’t work out, you haven’t wasted a lot of money. I started with a Logitech G29, very good beginner wheel 👌🏻🏁
