Raging Waterfall 1/2hr away from Los Angeles, CA // Millard Falls 2023

We went to Millard Canyon Falls. It's pretty easy to get here, we suggest putting Millard Falls Parking Lot into your gps. You will need the National Forest Adventure Pass to park in this lot. We got ours at Big 5, they are $30 for the year/$5 for the day pass and you can visit 4 National Forests in California: Angeles, Cleveland, Los Padres, and San Bernardino National Forests. We would suggest wearing shoes that you don't mind getting wet (you will get wet), and carrying your things in a backpack so you can cross the river hands free. Make sure you take all trash with you because there are no garbage cans along the hike, let's keep it clean for everyone! This is not a very long hike but since there are many river crossings, it is challenging right now. We have seen a record breaking amount of rain this year. The water is flowing very fast and the river crossings are hard. Keep this in mind before you attempt this hike and make sure all members of your group have the skill level to complete this. As the summer approaches the water should subside and the river crossings will become more manageable. This is one of our favorite hikes we've found near LA and we are so happy to share it with all of you!
