The fact that we threw a pick I the end zone, and in our own red zone, AND couldn't throw it at all and somehow won us absolutely insane. Wink needs a statue after that 😂
I hate to sound like an apologist, but I swear that pick in the end zone actually worked in our favor because it ultimately helped burn up the clock. It put OSU in horrible field position, forcing them to make bad plays and then having to punt INTO THE WIND. This allowed Michigan to get the ball back, putting us back to where we were before but with like 4 minutes LESS on the clock than before the pick. All this as opposed to a touchdown and having to kick it back to OSU and allowing them better field position to march a comeback. In other words, being tied 10-10 didn't give OSU that little extra OOMPH to fight harder than if they were behind 17-10, y'know??? 😂
It feels so sweet. In 51 years of watching M football, this was the one time I could not bring myself to watch, until the second quarter. I mean I had no hope and yet... HAIL YEAH. GO BLUE!
I know why we won this game. We won the game because of WINK MARTINDALE and the Michigan Offense. They shut Ohio Stste down in the 2nd half. Thanks Wink Martindale!
And the idea that an entire class of OSU players NEVER experienced a victory over Michigan... many of which were seniors and foregoed being drafted into the NFL (and thus potentially leaving millions of dollars on the table) in order to play in one final game as a matter of pride... that was the real icing on the cake!! They may have successful NFL careers, maybe even winning a Super Bowl. But they can NEVER say "we beat Michigan, I got my golden pants". [chef's kiss]
You must be a 2000s kid because anyone else born before that time frame knows what this rivalry was and is getting back to minus 10 years where Michigan wasn't good
Winks turning point started in the Oregon game. Then you see it a lot more during the Indiana game and then full force in the northwestern AND THEN show up to say it's here during the Ohio game. That will transition into next year. You have a dude that been in the NFL 30 years and had to adjust back to college. Dude is smart
I think it’s already being forgotten how high the stakes last year were. You lose that game and then it all goes for nothing. Everyone discounts the other wins and there’s no national title. 2023 was the biggest game Michigan and OSU have ever played.
The NFL is cool and all, but there's something about filthy, ugly, who wants it more gutsy football that just hits different. That defense won this one on pure heart 💙
I HATE to say this as a diehard UM fan but we needed to have this down yr. to wake up the BIG donors who hate losing, it worked out perfect for us, we are now huge in the nil game and will continue to get the high value talent. now all we need is a WR coach and a new OC
What is sooooooooo satisfying about this victory is NOOOOOOOO EXCUSES. All the other victories they had EXCUSES. Now even the die hard OSU Fans can’t think of an excuse why they lost this game.
21’, 22’, 23’, 24’. In order for me as well. 21 was just epic! The drought was broken and it was sweet! 22 was amazing watching JJ drop bombs and the Don break 2 70+ yrs in a row?!? What? 23, Zack goes down and Blake flips the beast mode switch!! One of the most emotional moments in the series! Those three years are untouchable, save by 91, and 97 when our heisman trophy winners made their presence felt. But these three were over those as well. They were magical.. like destiny. It was beautiful! 24’ was just hysterical and amazing grit! So much heart! One of the Best defensive performances I’ve ever seen!
Reporter: "What do you think of the concept of losing gracefully?" Coach Moore: "Yeah, I'm not. Ya know? We didn't lose so, we won. So, I'm not worried about losing" 😎
Day addressed the reason why he didn’t go back to the passing attack: it was because Michigan’s secondary was playing cushioned so they had to take run and short pass plays because Michigan’s D dictated their decisions. They couldn’t take advantage of this cushioned zone secondary because Michigan’s D line wouldn’t let them run for a yard. Go blue
Warren completed huge passes on 3rd down 4 or 5 times and then picked up a huge 2st down with his legs. He did enough to give Michigan a chance to win and they did.
Ryan Day signed for his downfall when 4 years ago he said he would “hang a hundred on them”. In 4 years they’re still 16 points short - 84 and counting. Too much talk. NOT TOUGH ENOUGH.
Ryan Day is literally spooked by that beautiful Winged helmet! I told my wife earlier in the week. If it's a one score game going into the 4th qtr Ryan Day will make a mistake that costs ohio the game! Cooper 2.0
Despite starting the worst quarterback in michigan's history, Despite having a very good tight end, not active.... despite not having the number one, shut down corner, not active. What won it for Michigan? When the obvious optics aren't stacked in your favor oh, that's when God loves it, he gets the glory.... Everything and everybody was stacked against Michigan.... those vituperative, obstreperous, rancorous and nonetheless cantankerous Buckeyes spent $20 mil on a refresh, roster that subsists on weed, hot pockets and flamin' hot cheetos. Everybody tells you to let it alone, will not win you anything - apparently the buckeyes think they're an exception to this reality.... they hedged their bets on pride and that's why they lost. With the most lopsided odds in a football game ever - the media hating left and right. The Bible tells us plainly that pride is the one iniquity that the Lord will visit himself "vengeance is mine, says the Lord I will repay" and "he frustrates the plans of the wicked" I assert to you clearly, the buckeyes had no ability to win. Michigan was about "the team, the team, the team" - even if the QB sucked more than an old Hoover vacuum.... the Bucks bought a one-way ticket to me myself, "I"sland. Hey Columbus, I know this might hurt to consider it - but, humility goes a long way....
I was yelling at the screen for us to do some play action pass plays. Than they finally did down at the goal line and it got picked off. Now I know why they didn’t do any play action pass plays lol can’t wait for Bryson
The reason Meyer hypes the talent of the team is because then no matter what, it diminishes what happens for Day. If he wins it's because he has more talent than Meyer. If he loses... Well, you know. Either way it strokes his ego.
I posted on an OSU site about this, and one buckeye fan said something telling: "Our qb ain't accurate past 15 yards." Maybe, just maybe, they didn't trust him in this weather and Michigan's pass rush.
You never saw MU get this sour after going 0-8. Use this to be better, look at the pay off! Rivalry means tight competition, appreciate how competitive it was win or loose. Quality football on both ends. Grow up OH
Great take on an ugly game and beautiful result. It's obvious, but i wanna shout out the D line on that final suckeye drive. Michigan rushed FOUR players against 7 and the O-line folded. Meaning we had 7 guys to cover 4 down field. Crazy. Also, let is not forget the Buckeyes BARELY beat Nebraska at HOME 21-17.
Ryan Day basically blamed his players and he tried to defend his offensive strategy by saying we had a "soft" defense who forced him to run the ball... But why didn't it work then?
And Klatt and Gus calling it classless (the flag planting). It happens all the time. Texas did it at the Big House and at the Horseshoe. If you win, you deserve it. Quit being a crybaby and face the music.
I learned a lesson years ago watching Tom Brady with the pats.. a stroud d line can erase a good offense every time. Case in point, the NY Giants and Eli manning.. not a great qb at all, but when your d line is eating the other team, you get all the chances in the world to make the needed plays. That’s what happened here and HAS happened the past 4 years. The only thing that offsets a good d line is a solid run game.. case in point last years Penn st game.
Until OSU learns to play free in this game and not put so much obsessive pressure on themselves, they will continue to lose. That’s a coach problem. Gotta fix that. But I’m not going to complain :))
Can't imagine them losing, what with that transfer from powerhouse Kansas State at QB. To think Kyle Stover went to Syracuse and did better. OSU went from J.T. Barrett, Dwayne Haskins (RIP), Justin Fields, and C.J. Stroud to Mr. K-State. Owie! You could blame at least some of UM's QB woes on the timing of Harbaugh's late departure and his not looking hard enough for a replacement. Day & Co. have no excuse. Of course, they've been out of excuses for a while now...
I am surprised at the reaction, I mean I get it it's a big rivalry blah blah, but for Michigan... Mighty Michigan the winningest program in College Football history (Most wins, not sure about %) to look at this and celebrate after a horrible season is surprising to me, Ohio State still in the running, Michigan is in shambles without a College Football level QB on the roster, and you are celebrating? Whatever, congratulations I guess...
I’d rather go 0-11 against a pewee league then lose to Michigan. I’d rather forfeit every championship, win and word of praise than let Michigan win the game. I’d rather students never achieve academic excellence. Let physics be taught in ankle deep mud in the rain, let the buildings fall to despair and dust. I’d rather bankruptcy rule the day then hear there fight song play. I’d rather win the battle and lose the war when Michigan step on the floor. Strike me dead with plague, as long as Michigan doesn’t win the game.
i get celebreating but planting a flag.wiiidy didnt do it earle bruce didnt jim tressle and urban didnt do it.ur fans need to grown up i heard ncaa getting involved going forward
Loved Sherrone’s postgame response on “toughness”… “We don’t talk about being tough, it’s who we are”.
Exactly. Whereas Ryan Day feels it absolutely necessary to talk about how tough his team is.
Classic put your head down and work hard your actions will speak louder than your words
That's been the story the past 4 years.
The fact that we threw a pick I the end zone, and in our own red zone, AND couldn't throw it at all and somehow won us absolutely insane. Wink needs a statue after that 😂
As someone that was on the fire Wink train I apologize. Wink has officially beaten the Don Brown 2.0 allegations

THAT was a statement. No Harbaugh, no Loveland, no Johnson, no problem.
And no Connor Stallions 😂 Go Blue 💙
It feels so sweet. In 51 years of watching M football, this was the one time I could not bring myself to watch, until the second quarter. I mean I had no hope and yet... HAIL YEAH. GO BLUE!
It's great to be a Michigan wolverine, it's great to be a Michigan wolverine
IT’S GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!!!
GO BLUE!!!💙💛
We won for pride and culture not to mention being rent free in their heads
What’s hillarious is how we tell Ryan every year exactly how we’ll beat him: in the trenches. And he counters with wide receivers!
And Ryan doesn’t use them!
I know why we won this game. We won the game because of WINK MARTINDALE and the Michigan Offense. They shut Ohio Stste down in the 2nd half.
Thanks Wink Martindale!
Go Blue!!! 4 years straight 💪
The mystique we all grew up with regarding Ohio, has vanished. Disappeared. Too many years of losing, and now they can go through what we all did 💛💙🏆💪
And the idea that an entire class of OSU players NEVER experienced a victory over Michigan... many of which were seniors and foregoed being drafted into the NFL (and thus potentially leaving millions of dollars on the table) in order to play in one final game as a matter of pride... that was the real icing on the cake!! You're right, but you're wrong. Don't think tough about them as they were tough to watch.
That’s bc he finally stopped all of that constant blitzing
I could not help but hear the voice of the great Bob Ufer when time ran out.
“They came to bury Michigan . The team they so despise, but when they opened the coffin, it was filled with buckeyes!”
@Jleed989 One of his best. 👌
I think it’s already being forgotten how high the stakes last year were. You lose that game and then it all goes for nothing. Everyone discounts the other wins and there’s no national title. 2023 was the biggest game Michigan and OSU have ever played.

We won because of WINK MARTINDALE and the Michigan DEFENSE. Period!
Don’t forget the special teams〽️〽️〽️
21’, 22’, 23’, 24’. In order for me as well. 21 was just epic! The drought was broken and it was sweet! 22 was amazing watching JJ drop bombs and the Don break 2 70+ yrs in a row?!? Yeah that was a Ohio softies reporter, in the wrong teams press conference 😂😂
GO BLUE HAIL TO THE VICTORS BOYS 〽️
It’s the most beautiful Sunday Fellas. Go Blue
Gus gets on my nerves

I think Wink figured college football out. Good job ❤
I love each and every one of them but 21 is th best one
What's up everybody and go blue everyone Amen 💪🙏 Amen

Poetic justice. You are a scholar
I was yelling at the screen for us to do some play action pass plays. Than they finally did down at the goal line and it got picked off. Now I know why they didn’t do any play action pass plays lol can’t wait for Bryson
That receiver was wide open tho
How about this Kyle McCord beat the number 6 team in the Country (Miami). He won 9 games at SYRACUSE!!! But Will Howard was sooo much better!?!? 😂
OSU barely ran any plays in the 4th quarter. Three and out and 4 desperation throws in the last 40 seconds. Michigan ground and pound worked.
I’m have no voice also, 🍻 GO BLUE 〽️
Good job guys. Like it.
Hell yeah! Go Blue!! Way to get it done, gents!!!
The reason Meyer hypes the talent of the team is because then no matter what, it diminishes what happens for Day. If he wins it's because he has more talent than Meyer. If he loses... Well, you know.
Either way it strokes his ego.
Do you suppose that when Howard threw his second and almost third interception is why Ohio Soft wanted to run the ball.
Cam Brandt was putting in a lot of work in that scrum after the game.
I would like to offer my sincerest apology to one Wink Martindale. Absolute masterpiece on Saturday. 🤝🏾〽️
Actually Ohio State will score 100 on Michigan. It will just take 5 games to do it. lol 😂
You know how funny it'd be if ryan day gets canned before he even reaches 100 total 😂
When Ryan Day said he was gonna hang 100 on Michigan, he was only off by a factor of 10 😂 *4 STRAIGHT BABY* 〽️〽️〽️〽️
Put a lid on tha toilet since they cant play in the weather
Someone else in the comment section on another video said it best.
Michigan didn’t steal their signs. They stole their souls!
Question: who was calling plays, Sherrone or Kirk?
I posted on an OSU site about this, and one buckeye fan said something telling: "Our qb ain't accurate past 15 yards."
Maybe, just maybe, they didn't trust him in this weather and Michigan's pass rush.

I wasn't 100% confident Michigan would win. But I thought they could and if they kept the game tight they would win.
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!
That TD had such an obvious OPI that it was ridiculous that it was not called.
So disappointed in Gus and Klatt. Stupid hypocrites. I think they have been drinking the Kool-Aid.
Quit complaining about the non-call on the OPI, fellas. It's a bad look.
Everything else, 100% agreement.
Gus is bad and Klatt is a Tumu Herbstreit
Great take on an ugly game and beautiful result. It's obvious, but i wanna shout out the D line on that final suckeye drive. Michigan rushed FOUR players against 7 and the O-line folded. Meaning we had 7 guys to cover 4 down field. Crazy.

THE ohio state ego has been deflated 😂
mich 13 1st downs 13 pts numbers really matter
Enough of the "their defense phenomenal" , a phenomenal defense doesn't let our offense score 13 points
Game's over. Season's over.

To be fair, Jim was 0:5 against OSU in his first years.

day days r over the buck stops here
Chip Kelly is so 2 decades ago...
Ohio Soft wasn't going to win throwing the ball. What do you mean they wanted to look tough?
I am surprised at the reaction, I mean I get it it's a big rivalry blah blah, but for Michigan... Two pics, two missed field goals.
CALEB DOWNS LOST TO US TWICE THIS YEAR ! LOL
😂🎉😂😮😢

If the rolls were reversed every Michigan fan would be saying roughly the same thing.
And they keep telling us it’s just a game
still don't believe it mich qb sucks u know

Ya, the hammer is coming. 😊
i can throw better than warren
But you can't win, better than him 😂😂
