The funny thing about that second match is that all of the premium future releases of 2023 ( if you include the zenkai of soh trunks ) are in the match. And all of them released in the same few months ( March through July)

This Rose is still one of my favourite releases. I love this guy, even if I haven't touched legends since the festival ended

Goku black is still my favourite unit in legends i remember how happy i was getting him on my 2nd rotation and using him till the moment i dropped the game lmao i would put him on almost any team i could

My biggest dissatisfaction with this guys was how hard his cover null is to get, I seriously hate when they give easy cover null conditions to the most random units ever but fumble a hype anticipated character. Like who thought giving it to him on his gauge that takes forever to fill was a good idea? Not to mention dude relies so much on debuffs with such a slow cut penetration ramp up. I known he was broken on release but characters nowadays need kits to make them live longer not absolutely dominate for 1 meta, I’d take being consistently good over being broken for a short while.
He can still look pretty good, when he gets going, but he has aged

I managed to get my first copy of Rosé a few weeks ago and of course by the time I pull him he’s been reduced to nothing but an annoyance that hits about as hard as a leaf.

This video made me realize that offensive unique gauges age out so fast like a year from now super 17 will be just as bad as rose is meanwhile every other character that’s released since legends fest up until this point will probably still be usable

It's funny. Rose isn't AWFUL these days but he almost feels like a Free to Play unit in comparison to modern kits. He needs to work SO much harder for stuff that other characters get for free. Landing paralysis? Gotta hit with the blue, and even then it's 40% of the time. Super 17 brings a paralysis blast card by default. Cover null? Gotta use like 10 arts cards. Super 17 has to use 1. Using a second ult? Rose needs to fill his gauge AND deplete it. Super 17 needs to land a cover change.......maybe Super 17 is the problem.

He’s aged pretty well, not as well as usg ugb but defo better than ukb broly usv janemba and hit. His teams r so bad now and he’s a bit slow but at peak he’s still solid. Don’t think any of the ultras pre 5th anni r any good anymore

He should have had at least cover null with the green if not even more accessible, considering that he is a unit that needs setup, and to be fair the triple ult is just overkill because you never use it, a stronger kit with one ult less would have been much better.
Aside that he is still doing really high damage and his debuffs are still hellish.

I have been running uvb ur and Blu zamasu sinch uvb came out as i got shafted on every ultra since then and i can tell you even if they got power creep they are still really good units
Honestly I don't think he's that bad it's just cause there are so many characters that just bypass what rose wants to do if he got maybe a new equipment or unique equipment that could change a lot like if it had the effect of reduce the opponents unique gauge by 20 whatever % Everytime he used a strike and or blast that would change a lot or something like that
