Man, I used to absolutely LOVE playing those Qwark things as a child (when this game came out on the PS2), the nostalgia is so real.
Liked the sarcasm at the beginning about the quark game.
this series actually made me want to go back and play these games, and get the future games.
bisnap... you just gained about 500 awesomeness in my eyes... this game was THE game of my childhood.
and you know what makes it even more awesome when you get the rainbow weapon trail that is so awesome to see paired with the music :D
I actually really like the vid-comics, maybe because I love old school side scroller platformers, but I thought they were great.
FFA is reasonably fun. But the Future series is amazing.

Your strategy reminds me of the scene in the karate kid remake when jackie chan was making the kids fight each other. I don't remember if there was a scene like that in the original.

Rules:
You can't have spirit hearts off the screen. You can't pick up Epic Fetus, because they will make it 0.0001% chance of appearing, in other words, it will never show up.Can't pick up Inner Eye, Mutant Spider or Polyphemus, because they will ruin these items too.If you pick up Brimstone or mom's knife, you are not allowed to take damage ups for the remainder of the run.Also, curse of the labyrinth on Cathedral.
I really don't get why you dislike the vid comics and the plasma whip. The vid comics are like awesome old school side-scrollers, but with better graphics. They're short and very forgiving, unlike some of the ones I grew up with. The plasma whip balances out all the shooting. It's great for smaller enemies and covers a lot of ground.

Kibop123 Do you have an argument against the reasons I gave?The whip is different. There's a lack of melee weapons in these game, and this one fills that hole. It's just as useful as any other weapon when it first becomes available. Like every other weapon, its usefulness eventually dwindles, but that is intentional because the game designers (You can hear some of their commentary on uselesspodcasts.) wanted to push you to upgrade your weapons and use other ones.

Well, the ammo isn't so bad when it's fully upgraded. It has literally 3000 ammo. But yeah it's inaccurate, yet it still kills everything pretty fast. The music is what's important though!

but it's completely the music that sells it, because it's so horribly inaccurate and for the firerate the ammo is so low.
All restrictions are off in the Chest.
I suggested this run because I think this is what will happen to Rebirth if Edmund doesn't control the balance fixes (as we know, Isaac is now developed by 3rd party dev team and only inderectly controlled by Ed).And the dev team seems to make that the luck factor is minimized, all powerful items will be turned into mediocrity, and the game will become boring.Also Greedhead, blue spike and masks buff...ITS JUST PLAIN ANNOYING.
Umm... I actually liked the Vid-Comics when I was younger and I never had any real problems with them .-.
Man when I was 6 I hated that terrible two stage cause it was scary like if your the same.

The last two games all4one and the new game look pretty bad and not platformy/the same experience though
