I am from Louisiana and we call them Japanese Plums. Then we retired to St Petersburg Florida and they call them Loquats.I love them right off of the tree. Then when ours were almost gone I realized I can make jam or jelly. My tree is not as big as yours but it was loaded. Thanks for sharing this video. Love hugs and prayers for you and your family. ❤❤❤
Sorry I can't help you I have never tried them. And until seeing your video i've never even seen them or heard of them. But I do pray that you've get the help you're looking for so those fruits don't go to waste.
Loquat are a small, Delicious fruit! Similar in taste to a mix of Apricot/Plum with a hint of floral tones. Very different flavor from any other fruit I've had. You have to harvest when perfectly ripe and have only 3-5 days to use them Fresh. Very fragile.
I've never tried a loquat before , thanks for sharing , God bless !
