    I love how you are helping us with the basics. More advanced skaters typically have a lot of guidance from their coaches already, so the fact that you focus strongly on those learning basics and pre-freestyle skills is certainly a perfect audience for online instruction. Thanks so much!

    This is such a thorough tutorial. I watched the whole thing even though I'm working on doubles now. Notes on the takeoff might actually help with my 2T!

    Your explanation of how the arms are to come through on this jump was really helpful. I can’t wait to go to the rink and play with this jump again. Thank you!!

    Hi could u please do how to do the axel I got my waltz and one foot spin thankyouuuuu

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  3 года назад +4

      Hi there! Great job getting your waltz jump and one foot spin! Before you try and learn your axel, you will want to have a strong backward spin. And you will want t learn the other jumps between the waltz jump and the Axel. The Axel is the most difficult jump. People usually learn their jumps in this order... Waltz Jump, Salchow jump, Toe Loop Jump, Loop Jump, Flip Jump, Lutz Jump, and then the Axel Jump.

    That's so not a ballet position with tilted hips AND turned in Leg

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  3 года назад +4

      Yeah, not a true 'ballet' position, but it is as close as it gets on the ice. lol
