Sir, Mere right knee key MRI may - 1)Medial meniscal injury with focal complex tear & focal floating meniscus 2) PCL avulsion fracture of posterior inter-condylar region of proximal end of tibia seen. aisa likha huva hai. Lekin muze chalte samhey koi dard nahi hota ahai. Mara pair complete straight & complete bend hota hai. Sirf beythata hu tab ghutane key pichey & ghutane may dard hota ahai. its difficult to comment without seeing you clinically..
but usually grade 1 & 2 tears do not require any surgery. but then it also depends on how accurate your MRI report is... your symptoms could be due to moderate OA also & in that case arthroscopy is not at all recommended

Hi sir, I fell down from steps on november 7th , its been 2 months now. this is my MRI report findings. "Globular wedge-shaped PD high signal noted within the posterior horn of medical meniscus,not reaching up to articular surface - grade IIC injury.
PD intermediate signal with thickening and surrounding fluid along the medical
collateral ligament. The attachment sites of the ligament appear intact - partial tear". I am following RICE. is it cure with out surgery ? please help me with your valuable answer.

@@RiteshSharma-ef8ky i had diagnosed with bucket handle tear in medial meniscus and ACL tear. On 7 march i had gone through arthoscopy surgery. Post 2 days i discharged from hospital. Dr provide me rehab sheet in which mainly two exercises are mentioned. One is bend knee downward by putting roll of towel below your knee and another is bend knee toward yourself. Do this movement 200 time a day. You have to do this exercises after two day after surgery

I have been diagnosed with meniscus root tear. I am 52 years. I have been advised arthroscopy for root repair. But i am unsure of its success since the doctor told me sharp pain will be solved but some pain remains. And many activities like brisk walking and sitting down excercise not possible. Pl advice for or against the surgery since it has a long recovery period.

Mere doc ne to one month k liye movement mna ki hai aur ghutne ko na hi modna hai na hi weight padna hai
But after that one month don’t take it lightly…. Aggressive physio is needed … try your level best … I went through the surgery 2 months back but not able to bend my knee beyond 70-80 degree … stiff knee is the most common problem with any knee surgery… I don’t think it was my right decision to go for surgery 😢
@@ashajain4703 Haan right main bhi abhi zada bend nhi kar paa rahi but physio se mera pain bahut zada badh gaya hai itna ki mujhe painkiller leni padi
but the real problem is if you tear/cut the meniscus then the chances for oesteoarhitris will be more in next few years.

If you have meniscus tear which is repairable then - it’s repaired and gives good results .. but if meniscus is not repairable , leaving it without treatment or failed meniscus repair both will lead faster development of arthritis than well performed done partial meniscectomy

Partial meniscectomy increases the chances of arthritis in the knee in the later stages of life, isn't it?
Yes it may .. but not all the menisci are repairable .. it depends on many factors like - pattern of tear, how old if the tear and it’s torn in which zone .. not all the menisci give good results after repair .. if we perform repair in Such a tear then it fails and patient has to undergo surgery again

I’ve got complete tear most of the orthopaedics have seen said that it can be repaired 90 percent chances am worried about future 1 surgeon said even if they happen to remove it’s just 10 percent and future will not be affected they saying please advise what should be best option as it pains a lot sometimes
