@Tiago Thinks oh, lol. I'm autistic and had a very different interpretation of this song than everyone else. Nothing to do with death. I thought this was about being unable to catch up with peers developmentally, and was relieved to hear these concerns from someone else, because, at the time, I was hoping that it was normal. I just realized, listening as an adult, that this is likely not from the perspective of the singer, but rather about someone who died at 17.

This song reminds me of so many people I once knew who died :'( I miss them all so much and wish every single one of them were alive now. But I know God's taking care of them right now. I know me and those people weren't exactly close but they were really nice to me and I was nice to them. Every single one of them changed my lives and I cried for weeks when the people I knew died even the ones I didn't know.
I really love this song but makes cry every single time. When I was 17 I had a friend who passed away at 16. I think about him often. Now he's forever 16.
Bad things happen to all of us in some form or another it can make us stronger or weaker. Stay in the word for your strenght and also read a book A Child called it. My church did a human video to this, and it was my 2 best friends who died in it.... I cry everytime I hear this song and do the human video... I love this song sooooo much!! And God loves you soooo much!!!:)

I think this song talks about someone wanting to commit suicide and that if they did there are so many things that they could do and if they did go through with it then they wouldnt have lived yet.

When I was 13, my cousin died a month before his 18th birthday. That was long before this song.
