Bose puts a lot of research into their products. I’m amazed at the ignorance and parroting online. I see comments repeatedly about the 901 & 802. The 802 was developed and refined because professional artists were using 901’s live turning them around. They do not share the same driver. Statements posted online that we are forced to use a Bose Controller. Really? They didn’t design a controller to make the speakers sound better. The speakers were designed to be used with the controller. It’s not a option! The 802 Series III is still the best I’ve heard for my application. Nothing touches it. And the S1 Pro is amazing.
