The expulsion of innocent Germans from Silesia and the Sudetenland was a crime against humanity. May the memory of the German Riesengebirge never cease to be celebrated. May the post-1945 German victims of Czech violence rest in peace.
Yes, but Volhynia, Galicia and Polesia were already 90 % Ukrainian or Belarussian in 1939, while Silesia, Pomerania, Danzig, East Prussia, Neumark-East Brandenburg and the Sudeten and Eger regions, and the Memelland were + 90 % ethnic German and German-speaking. I acknowledged Polish character of Lwów/L'viv, but Galicia was already Ukrainian in 1945. In 1945 Breslau was German, and Silesia was 90 % German too. Until the deportation and genocide against the Germans.
