To run the graves at Sad Hill Cemetery to the Arch Stanton marker while The Ecstasy of Gold is playing in the background should be on every man’s bucket list.
I was 7 years old when my dad got a video tape, The Good Bad, The Bad. I watched the movie, after that I watched Once Upon a Time in the Wild West, I realized as a child that Sergio Leone was a genius, today I am over 40 years old and today I claim that there is no better director than Leon. Many "great directors" steal Sergio Leone's scenes and unfortunately win Oscars. Thank you for this video Tuko.
@@jimkirk351I like this this was good. I like anything to do with the good. The bad and the ugly I also didn't realise that they had made up the graveyard again as a film location. Because the last one I looked at. It was all just wasteland. 🇬🇧
@@jimkirk351 honestly, before I met my wife, my mates used to come to my house for a drink on weekends and watch cult classics like ‘the wicker man’ and Withnail & I and the good the bad & the ugly. We would all know all of the script off by heart! It would be a dream of mine to visit Sad Hill cemetery. Did you have a look for the stone that had ‘no name here either’ ? The one blondie placed on the ground? I would have searched high and low for that. 👍🇬🇧

The fact that you found the original Arch Stanton's grave at the end of your iconic run and showed it in its current form gives life to the legend of the trio's intersecting paths over 200 years ago. Thank you for your efforts to preserve true cinema, and its follow-up locations. This is one of my favorite movies of all time for so many reasons. Thank you for honoring the efforts and legacy of all involved.
Thanks for the nice comment! Yes, it was also very hot that day and I'm not as fit as Tuco! 😉 But of course I had a lot of fun! It was also very difficult to film with no strangers in the frame and there were a lot of cows in the cemetery!
That was one of my favorite visits in my two week long trip to Spain! I also did the crazy Tuco run on video with the music playing, but without anything close to the production values and commitment to the scene-by-scene acting you did! Nicely done.
❤thx for doing this. If I ever get to Madrid I will run the Graves like tuco. Who wouldn't for all that gold. Wallach shifty eyes, snarling grin. I feel tuco awesome highpoint of movie 😮😊

Jim. OMG. I can't believe you're one step ahead of me. I'm planning to visit Sad Hill this coming December. I had in mind to re-enact Tuco's famous run. Kudos! Will you also plan to do Sean's memories at the Toners in Dublin, too?...lol
Hey Jim, amazing vid, love it! I’m thinking about visiting Sad Hill this summer from the UK. Have you got any tips on how to get there from Madrid & where to stay, really appreciate any advice, cheers Blonde
Hi! Thank you for the praise. At that time we drove from Bilbao to Santo Domingo de Silos. I can highly recommend the hotel of the same name there. The route to sad hill had many potholes. An SUV rental car is recommended. It's best to go early in the morning, it's the best time to be alone. It is worth it! There are other locations in the area. (Camp Betterville and the bridge scene). I wish you much fun!
I don't see it that way. It's not a tourist attraction, a fan attraction! For anyone who loves the film and that's a great thing. It's nice that this wonderful place is being revived again. At the same time, a tribute to one of the best films of all time!
Sehr gut gemacht. Hab den ganzen video geschaut. Veilleicht muss ich mal den Film auf Deutsch anschauen. Auf Deutsch klingt Clint Eastwood's character irgendwie harter aber noch beilaufig.
