Historic Desegregation Monument Unveiling at the University of South Carolina - April 2024

Our university community gathered near McKissick Museum on the historic Horseshoe on April 19, 2024 for a ceremony honoring Robert Anderson, Henrie Monteith Treadwell, and James Solomon Jr. with the unveiling of a commemorative monument portraying the moments right after their enrollment at the university on September 11, 1963.
