      @@noregerts5247 You can literally look at the numbers and the tape to verify it......Brady put up fairly average numbers before 2007. And the tape shows why. He never threw the ball deep. He said he didn't haven confidence in himself to throw the ball deep into tight windows. He said Moss literally showed him how. How to manipulate the safeties in just the right way and emphasizing the importance of moving around certain players presnap to identify the coverage. After Moss got there, you could literally see on tape how much Brady had improved almost overnight.

    One of most amazing Randy Moss facts. When the Video shows Brady passing to Moss to and they say the "Patriots break the Vikings record for most points in a season" Moss was the most lethal offensive weapon on BOTH teams. These were also teams in different eras with different rules. Early in his career when the Vikings broke the record the game was much more physical for WRs meaning their were counters (physical play) to Moss young speed and he still dominated. A decade later when the rules were changed and the game was made less physical it was to allow the "fast receivers" to make highlights and score they said "Moss lost a step" but he STILL was the fastest in the league and DOMINATED even more. Simply amazing what he was able to accomplish.

      Welker getting 100+ receptions as an outlet really helped him though. Like he said, "Take the top off the defense" worked really damn well.

    • @thomasdemay9805
      @thomasdemay9805 4 года назад

      @@satsunada Welker was nice to have but I dont think Moss needed his help. Several of those "top off the defense" TDs weren't Moss burning guys with no safety help but rather Moss jumping over double coverage to make the catch. Nobody was scheming to stop Welker in those first couple of seasons Moss had with NE. It was the other way around. Everyone was focused on stopping Moss. Wasn't it prime Revis that Moss beat on that one handed catch?

    ‘The ball just makes its way to his hands somehow’ .. good analysis. In America, there is a literal phrase called a ‘Moss’. It’s basically when you jump over somebody and make a catch. Randy Moss was the master of catching balls that shouldn’t be caught. Also noticed that you said early in the video ‘wow, that’s a great throw’... many times, the QB is just tossing it up in the air, trusting that Randy would catch it. He seemed to always jump over everybody and make the catch.

    Honestly, that was really a clip showing 90% great passes and 10% great catches. When a quarterback throws a 40-yard pass, while dodging rushing players, and puts it "in the numbers" (as we say here in the U.S.) the receiver shouldn't be the one getting praised. He was a great player, no doubt, but he played with incredible quarterbacks (including the G.O.A.T.) that made him look even better.

    U saw at the start of the Video that Moss thought he was going to play with the Dallas Cowboys and then at Draft Time they mention Who is going to take a chance on Moss. They ask that question because as good as Moss was he had A LOT of Attitude problems that went out into the community. I live in Minnesota where he went to to play for the Vikings. He had an Multi Time Pro Bowl Reciever Named Chris Carter that u should check out sometime that was already there and for 2.5 years he was not doing bad attitude wise. He was learning from Carter and getting a lot of balls thrown his way. Then the coach HAD to start spreading the ball around more. and Moss did NOT like that. It got so bad that Moss instead of stopping for a traffic cop he pushed her out of the way and I am talking all of the way across an intersection and one up to the side walk. He and Carter rather than talking on the sidelines Moss would say things to piss him off. And if he was being used as a decoy, more than once he literally Walked one to three steps in the play and walked off the field. And sometimes he didn't even do that much. These are the Attitude things he was known for in college that made it so he didn't get picked higher in the draft.
    As Good as Moss was and he had a LOT of talent KNOW that he could have put up not just hundreds of more yards he could have put up several thousands more yards and had even more TDs. I think he was that good.
    He could out run about everyone on the fiend. Every team that had him had a play that was basically Randy Go Get it. And it went the QB would throw the ball as far as he could and if he was lucky Randy didn't have to slow down at all to catch the ball. Many times Randy did have to slow to catch the ball.
