@@THUGPUTIN Speed T4 is not a competition to G450 first of all . And yes you are right . The captured market of RE is almost next to impossible for any brand to beat . RE created a monopoly no one can touch . But that doesn't mean that any other brand can not even touch the sales mark for a good start
KTM has serious reliability issue...especially with their camshaft !!! I owned couple of KTM'S and was stranded on a trail !!! HELL with KTM. I rather take my chances with Himalayan
I completely agree with you. Personally I'd say the 390 is their most reliable "large displacement engine" in the market right now. Of course there is the 450 but I don't have experience with that. I wish you all the very best with the Him450 if you choose to get one. It's an amazing bike especially with the tubeless spoked wheels now. I've put out a short about the Him450 you can check :)
The Himalayan is an awesome bike but after riding it for many days I've realised it's got some issues, primarily the weight abd ekectrinics. If KTM gets these 2 right then i think the KTM is a no brainer.

@@doggydaddy108 There is a difference between a race spec bike and Production bike . Any kind of race bike even from the most reliable manufacturers is not at all reliable . The engine oil , compression ratio and everything is set according to the racer and so the intervals of fluid drain and parts change is also very short + they're the bikes that have been made after putting a deck of money onto them .
@@motard_lonewolf dude ...thats what I am trying to say ... If in that tight and rough conditions like of a Dakar race ...the engines perfom outstanding.. then in daily commute they do surpaas every obstacles. one or two exceptions are forgiven for everyone

My brain is set on the Scram 400X but the heart wants what the heart wants. I'm 110% sure this will enter the premium segment in terms of price as KTM has been jacking up their prices and quality for the 390 class bikes. (speaking as an owner)
I don't even know that himalayan is, I own a 390, I will definitely switch to this new version as soon as it is available in my country! Later and maybe I will switch to a 690 Adventure (if available).
@@virajvrooms it is . when you know how capable and agile it is for an adventure tourer motorcycle . Himalayan 450 has a problem of its weight distribution and it cannot handle tight spots , corners and hill climbs easily . You need to put it some effort for handling overall geometry of the bike . On the other hand this ADV390R is effortlessly sharp as we saw in the clip . Dude KTM is up for the market

A 600 is generally classified as a supersport by enthusiasts. A 660 and 650 isn't a 600 but a 660 and 650. Of course you can broaden the term now since there are ALOT of new categories popping up. As an oldie, I'd like to stick to 600's being the screamer supersports revving at 16,000rpm's. (675 being an exception)
@@PRAG3 600cc proper supersport class middleweight bikes are not there in India except for the ZX6R . The ones you mentioned are all sports tourers . 650 and 650+ class bikes are meant for touring purpose not actually to be ridden like 600s on the track .

I own a 390, definitely I will swith my old 390 for this new version! 100% for sure, the fuel tank design and the new engine: is enough for me!
