They need to add some way to upgrade armour level, so these unique sets aren't locked as "calibrated" and effectively worthless if you get them at level 20-30.
Big thing to note with the Mercury set from NASA is that it is missable after the campaign mission. I did not know about that armor set, and in my efforts to try and get it after I completed the mission, I have discovered that it is now blocked off. So for anyone watching in the future, make sure to grab it DURING the mission, as well as explore as much as possible, as you cannot fully explore the facility after you finish the mission.
It's just the explorer suit with a different name. Game needs a proper 60s NASA suit and actual NASA branding on it and the mercury suit since many folders and cups already do.
You don’t have to collect snow globes , all you have to do is walk around the nasa museum on the dark side of the moon and the suit, pack and helmet are in a glass display case which is unlocked.

the nice thing about the mantis armor is that you can save before checking it out on the dummy and thus re-role the abilities on it to what ever you want if your patient enought... this make it one of the best to get early on
The Mantis Armor Set is the easier armor to get early in game but if you do go after this set DO NOT forget that you can re-roll the traits for it if you don’t like the ones you initially get - just quick save before grabbing the armor and you can easily roll for one until you get the set of perks you want NOTE: I don’t know if it works with the other armor sets listed here but I just wanted to leave this here because it’s a great opportunity that can easily be missed
You can also reroll the peacemaker set if you save before sitting down and talking to the boss lady. Just spam through the dialogue options and get the set. Reroll as needed.
@TheCoolCucumber I found 2 sets in there, both with better stats. The only problem is they don't have any perks. I rerolled until I got the perks I wanted. Now I can't find anything better than it. I got it around level 10. I'm level 40 and still haven't found anything better. I've found stuff with better stats but they are always common with no perks. My mantis armor has plus 40 carrying capacity, resources weigh 25% less and weapons weigh 50% less. Those 3 perks help a ton with gathering loot and resources. I hate that so much of the loot is trash in this game and the fact you can add or at least reroll perks. Most armor looks like crap too, especially the helmets.
You can also get a unique set wich i like the most if you complete the mission at mars where you become the assistant for the miner. It's like the starter mining armor but with tooth drawings on the helmet. And its red

You can loot uc vanguard pieces from vanguard npcs (I got a few from spaceship loot after pirate encounters, or you may try killing captains/crew on planet ship encounters)
Don't think it's unique, plus it's carry capacity isnt that great, but I love the Bounty Hunter armour set I found, it also has similar colour vibes to Boba Fetts.

Awww ... I am disappointed to hear the experimental suit is the "Best" armor in the game. I am already wearing it for the perks, but I have been eager to upgrade out of it because I hate how it looks compared to other suits. I guess I just need to hope for a good random drop or settle for looking good at the cost of perk disadvantage. I would not be upset if they introduce a Transmog system later eirher. That would be preferred, actually.

I don't think nishina is the best. Superior Tracker's Alliance gear has the highest defense I can find but it is very heavy. If you're extremely lucky, I think the starborn vendor can sell legendary versions of the set.
@@James-zk7km There is a ship you can randomly come across in NG+ who sells some unique guns and random legendary gear. You can find them in the normal game but they won't trade with you until NG+
Never picked up the pilot suit. I've completed that misson multiple times. You can literally just steal the ship after pick pocketing the Doctor and taking his dock keylard.
The supperior bounty hunters set is stronger than all of the sets except after ng 3 later. They are random, but apawn alot more and can be seen at vendors after level 60 n up and on very hard..mod that up and its even better!!!
if you can get armor plated and sentinel on it, it's great. Otherwise stick to an armor that has those like UC Anti Xeno armor. You can literally stand still to have a 75% chance to half damage. That means peaking out of cover, standing still, crouching and w/e. Best armor passive, especially when coupled with gravity shield or moon form.
UC Anti-Xeno armor is my favorite. I also have tons of legendary armor that I have looted since my game seems to be broken and only drops legendary helmets, packs, suits and melee weapons.
This is caneI noticed if your armor and gear disappears it's because you're stealing and if you get caught by free star you see or any other faction your armor or guns or anything you stole will automatically go into individually into inventory. Remember it's in the crate in the jail cells that you just got up is in one of those crates so you have to take it back. That's how why it disappears and if you go to new Atlantis if you go out your s*** and run back to where the guy is standing at the landing port or where you would see one of the mechanics to fix your ship. Go the opposite way. If you go there you'll see a big crate. It will always have everything you've lost and that's in every major city of all. Factions but if you get caught with drugs or even if you don't get caught with drugs, especially in a Kia City, you will always get drugs and especially in neon city. You will always get lots of it in the jail. Trust me I had that problem but you can still lose everything
I wish we could customize our space suit look a bit. Also wish that we could make our 10th NG+ starborn armor look like our favorite version, but with the best stats.
Another great Starfield video, Keep them coming! I actually preferred the Mark 1 over the Mantis suit. I finished the UC quest with the Terrormorphs and got the badass legendary UC Xeno suit. Did a few minor upgrades to it at the bench and it’s by far my most powerful suit. I’m going to be grabbing a couple of these though and do some upgrades and see if I can’t find myself a new daily driver suit lol. Thanks again man love your videos

hmm second though on this... if you merge in the sole survivor from that other universe is it really merged? or is this not more something that proves the many worlds interpretation? In which case one universe now has one universe has everyone die and the other has no one die... so one universe sucks for all and one does not... hmmm... then again the many worlds thingy would mean every possible act you took was taken so that whole thing makes no sense with this sci-fi senario and just proves dont try to mix in real physics with the scifi science babble lol.. Personally i prefer the many worlds interpretation... make more sense to me not that i am that into physics...

The loot drops in this game are terrible. The vast majority of the time it's basic armor with no perks. I got the mantis armor at around level 10 and haven't found anything better since and I'm level 40 now. Sure, I can find armor with slightly better stats, but they don't have any perks. I have plus 40 carry capacity, resources weigh 25% less, and guns weigh 50% less, plus the other 6 perks they have. I don't want to lose all that just for slightly better stats. Not to mention, there isn't a lot of good looking armor, especially helmets. You should be able to add perks or, at the very least, reroll perks.
theres a set when going for mantis its a common but its stats are better then the mantis and ive only to see 1 set of this armor so far it sits on a bench about 3/4 of the way thru
That's the Bounty Hunter set. You can also buy it from some vendors or find it as loot. As you go up in levels you can also start finding better versions of it.

@@yoyo71643 the gran gran is locked behind the perk at the start so no that's the only way it comes the monster outfit is a quest reward and also only comes the way it was as for the ranger I'm not sure haven't got it myself but based on the others it's safe to assume it's also only a normal armor most if not all armors that are unique either come as a legendary only or a normal armor they don't normally have a normal and a legendary of each the only one I can think of off the top of my head that's kinda in that vain is the vanguard set you can get a legendary set of that later in the vanguard quest line but thats about it I think but don't quote me on that

It's insane people use anything but the superior bounty hunter spacesuit. It has the most DR in the game that I have found before you get starborn armor. Nishiana stats are mid and the suit is ugly. Put some points into spacesuit design and you can also have most of these "legendary" features but with actually good DR. Only thing that sucks is the bounty hunter helmet is very ugly. Xeno UC suit helmet has mid stats but goes perfectly with the bounty hunter spacesuit.
I looked this video in hopes that they would have some sort power armor like spacesuits in late game but I suppose that was asking for to much. They look nice but none of them make be like damn that is so cool. They are all just kinda generic looking.
I refuse to wear it now just because it's one piece meaning if you jump with the boost pack while not wearing a spacesuit the whole suit will equip again lol
It sucks that the majority of the space suits are hideous, including the mantis. The only ones I like the look of are the starborn, the anti-xeno, and the mantis (when I mod it to look like something else). I literally throw away "better" armor because of how terrible it looks, especially when you mix and match.

It’s actually not that bad you do your first run through which is what like 20 hours depending on your speed run and then ng plus gives you the option to just collect the artifacts instead of doing the full story….it should take you roughly an hour or so to collect the artifacts and do ng plus again
space games are very niche genre... not for all. I still dont know what to think about Starfield. It has horrible programming issues that is causing frame rate drops/blue screen of death, lag spikes even on 3070 graphics card.@@goatwarrior3570
You can, I just did it last night. You just have to repeat the main story rather than skip. There's been a few points so far where you can skip sections or get unique dialog for being in NG+.

Probably because you get them for starting a new game after completion - theyre cool looking, decent enough armours for early in the game. If they gave you some unreal, top level armour itd kind of shit on the idea of starting from the beginning again wouldnt it

Both UC sets are my favorite! Both the color and the xeno one has amazing stats

If you want the ranger spacesuit earlier, you can actually steal it from the general store thats on your left when entering Akila city.

Change difficulty to very hard before entering the area. Worked first try for me. Full suit is advanced and is my best armor by far

Hopefully they add a way without mods to apply legendary effects to unique items.
The only problem with these armor sets is that they're completely useless on subsequent NG+ playthroughs, they're all static in their stats.
Best and only armor is the Antixeno one. Just going to get it now at lvl 49. Hope it scales..
They should add same system as BG3 where you can appear to be wearing what you want but actually be wearing something else

Constellation Superior is not identical looking to mark 1 armor.

I looked this video in hopes that they would have some sort power armor like spacesuits in late game but I suppose that was asking for to much.
They look nice but none of them make be like damn that is so cool. They are all just kinda generic looking.

Annoyingly once you’ve got starborn the other armor sets don’t come close especially the venator set
I refuse to wear it now just because it's one piece meaning if you jump with the boost pack while not wearing a spacesuit the whole suit will equip again lol
It sucks that the majority of the space suits are hideous, including the mantis. The only ones I like the look of are the starborn, the anti-xeno, and the mantis (when I mod it to look like something else). I literally throw away "better" armor because of how terrible it looks, especially when you mix and match.

those dont count as spacesuits its under armor these are all spacesuits

Why? Skyrim players play Skyrim for 1000's hours for YEARS. Why Starfield would be any different. New game+ is the best what Bethesda did so far.

It’s actually not that bad you do your first run through which is what like 20 hours depending on your speed run and then ng plus gives you the option to just collect the artifacts instead of doing the full story….it should take you roughly an hour or so to collect the artifacts and do ng plus again

space games are very niche genre... not for all. I still dont know what to think about Starfield. It has horrible programming issues that is causing frame rate drops/blue screen of death, lag spikes even on 3070 graphics card.@@goatwarrior3570

Can you get the Nishina armor on a NG+ playthrough? I assume not. Nobody willingly does the awful main quest more then once. It is genuinely so bad
You can, I just did it last night. You just have to repeat the main story rather than skip. There's been a few points so far where you can skip sections or get unique dialog for being in NG+.
agreed, that Nishina quest fucken sucked. I accidentally just saved the lone dude because I wasnt paying attention... no way im doing it again, even if it is the 'best' armour

Probably because you get them for starting a new game after completion - theyre cool looking, decent enough armours for early in the game. If they gave you some unreal, top level armour itd kind of shit on the idea of starting from the beginning again wouldnt it
My peacekeeper quest is either glitched or softlocked cause it won't let me talk to the security guy in the infirmary. Sad.
