I beg to differ: it IS a career move if you can use it as a platform to build a brand.
It really isn't. Reality shows come out every year and I can only mention less than ten people who managed to turn their time on reality TV into a brand. The other 98% fade away
There are many people who have have appeared on The Challenge that have made than a career...
This is what he said lol. Use it to build a brand
It is but you need to be realistic. The ppl making big money are ppl who get like 5+ seasons out of a show and stay on. It’s very niche and it’s a seasonal job. Not even a part time job. Making a career out of a seasonal gig is unheard of but do-able.
Like he said the Bethenny Frankels are few and far in between
My cousin was a baby sitter for someone on RHOA and they paid my cousin 1,000 just for the weekends. RHOA is the top show but still…. That’s crazy
Who wouldn't want to represent me, always exciting this Gemini does in real life.
My reality show title would be... I'm always hyped.💕
Thank you!
The I live my reality show is needed. Seriously. Have all four elements that makes up life, really exciting and sad. My own contract my promise money will be made easily.
Just FYI, the three episode boxes at the end don't work. You can click on them and they don't take you to the listed episode.
Do you work in Reality Television? Because I'm 16 and I have wanted to work as a Camera Operator or work in the DV dept for Reality TV ever sense the 4th Grade and my teacher saying; "What do you want to be when you grow up?".
Beautiful! I love this ❤️
i have reality show Concept who am i contact to invest my idea
But Kandi Burrus from RHOA makes 275K per episode also Nene Leaks had 260 Thousand dollars per episode.
Exactly. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kandi.
They didn't start anywhere near those numbers. The real money is in later seasons on the rare hits.
Agreed, but again there’s TONS of people on reality tv. When you count them all the Kandis and NeNes are not everywhere. It’s a blessing to be able to be on tv for 10+ years and make good money off reality tv.
@@troydevolld9793 exactly. These folks don’t get it. Nene said they got paid like $5000 their first season. It look a long time to get a 7+ figure paycheck or a nice 6 figure.
I’m your next star so yea
The so-called aspiring actor picking up their life and moving to L.A. to become a reality star? Seems to me that sort of behavior would DISQUALIFY him or her from being a candidate for a reality show. There is NOTHING realistic about leaving your REAL LIFE behind to pursue a wannabe acting career. Those who will 'realistically' be spending YEARS responding to cattle calls and dinner theater. Acting is literally, figuratively, and in every way that matters the definitive opposite of reality. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that the exact problem critics gave the Real World in its infancy? And I quote from one review of Real World, "I can't tell who is using who more, the show's cast or the show's producers." Don't forget shows like that made the participants sign contracts giving them the right to 'fictionalize'
Ayo hit my fam up we live in Florida thoo
"Reality stars do not make a tremendous amount of money"---that's why you negotiate! It's up to YOU, not your manager, not your agent. 9 times out of 10 thoses bozos can't even negotiate their way out a paper bag and even if they're number 1 why should they be allowed to negotiate and not you? Lawyers negotiate, stockbrokers negotiate, why not you?
Thank YOU!!! True! Look at Bethany Frankel, although insufferable, she IS a great hustler and quick as a whip!
That’s literally what he said, after you are a few seasons in and you’re up for a new contract do it. That is if you get that many seasons.
Great guy! Yes, yes, he comes across as Mr. No and a rain cloud in search of a parade, but he isn't. People should check out his blog at: realitytvtroy.wordpress.com/
