Ever since 2005 I didn't hear that Schwarzenegger story again, the guest was a stranger to me so I couldn't pinpoint whose interview it was, and it was unlikely I would ever find it on the internet because searching "Conan O'Brien Arnold Schwarzenegger" wasn't going to bring up what I wanted. Still, I would think back on it from time to time and still get a laugh. It was lost in a sea of thousands of hours upon years of Conan O'Brien episodes. But rather than finding the clip, the clip found me. I was all, "No...could this be it?". This was just a really nice discovery :D
Ok this is insane!! I had the exact same experience with Brian Regan and the “walking into a spider web” bit! My big brother and I heard this comic in like ‘89 or ‘90 (I was about 9 or so), it was on a&e’s ‘comedy on the road’ show and my brother could retell it perfectly and he did so many times...and I loved it every time! Then one day like a year ago (about the time you made the comment I’m replying to right now) I’m in a Brian Regan RUclips wormhole and loving it and i come across that clip and promptly fell out of my chair! Really good talent does have a way of sticking out even if you don’t notice it right away.

I feel even prouder for the accolades he is receiving that are so very richly deserved, in particular the award he received from the Child Mind Institute for his input into the younger self project, helping young people with anxiety disorders. He is such a beautiful, funny, intelligent, insightful, kind and astute man. I really hope to meet him in the future so I can tell him in person.
