A fantastic song that has stood the test of time. I remember when this song came out, I would watch MTV every afternoon hoping this song would play. One of my fave KISS songs and one of my faves of all time.
Paul Stanley never gives up. He has a VISION and by God he sees it through. What a talent, he played the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and gives an EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE. He really kept KISS together off and on all these years. Much Admiration.
Paul Stanley, one of the most underrated vocalist of his time, not just take the man had mad talent as artist/song writer as this song can clearly show
Fave Paul Stanley vocal performance. Love his raspy voice during the verses. Saw this tour. Paul split his pants TWICE!!! MTV played this video all the time!!! xoxo The Clarences
My favorite affirmation song. Paul knows how to stand up and fight for what you believe in. As a Christian, who is not pursuing the life that Paul is, the message from this song applies to my journey of faith with Christ. I'm never gonna give up in the fight. I am fighting the good fight and will win the race of faith.
The guitar SOUND in the solo is mind blowing. I have never been actual Kiss-fan but they have a couple great tunes and this track has maybe the best sounding guitar sound ever. Even in the 21st century I haven't heard anything quite as convincing - Wow!
you're not getting old. Young people like myself and people younger than me are discovering these old bands and becoming fans. Look at it this way- your generations, the 1960s, the 1970s and 1980s are inspiration!!
I'll never forget hanging out with these guys multiple times while doing guitar tech work for artists. Great memories. I still do it and hang out once in a while with all the bands I used to work with but I'm mostly a dad now now. Great times, great memories
I've got a good friend of mine that worked and was friends with them since '78. I'm watching a podcast interview with him as I type this. but, I'm not as knowledgeable about Kiss as I am about other bands. but, I've always dug this song. btw, what other bands did you tech for? I've been doing tech work in the side lately, too.
***** They are fairly pedestrian musicians. Only Ace really knew his way around the instrument. More about flash, not a lot of substance. That's the critique anyway.
With painting and without painting, I think his music is spectacular. Like everyone, they went through their identity "crisis", but they remained great in their music

Mark Mark, I agree. In fact, Paul Stanley wrote this song; he also developed the rhythm parts; base line; guitar solo; etc. Paul Stanley is a very underrated and hard working musician. He has influenced so many other rock musicians and musicians from different genres.
Underrated? Isn’t kiss the best band of all time? How they grew with the times will never be matched Liz
Nintendong Wouldn’t day they’re the best but I believe they are by far the best selling in everything from music to merchandise
unrecognized???
ehhh...
Carr was such an excellent drummer. This was a great period for the band. They have such a great catalog of songs.
65 and counting! I have been a Kiss fan since they started in '73.
LYRICS
I read your mind like an open book
You lost the fire in your eyes
You turn to me with a different look
And then it's raining, looks like it's raining
Oh no, tears are falling
Oh no, tears are falling
Oh no, tears are falling
Something is wrong as I hold you near
Somebody else holds your heart, yeah
You talk to me with your eyes in tears
And then it's raining, feels like it's raining
Oh no, tears are falling
Oh no, tears are falling, whoo oh
Oh no, tears are falling, whoo oh
I saw you cry
And now it's raining (yeah)
Looks like it's raining (someone stole your heart)
And now it's raining, feels like it's raining
Oh no, tears are falling
Oh no, tears are falling, whoo oh
Oh no, tears are falling, someone stole your heart
Oh no, tears are falling, they're falling from your eyes
Oh no, tears are falling, (no no, falling from your eyes)
Oh no, tears are falling
(Oh no, no, falling, oh, they're falling from your eyes)
Oh no, tears are falling (Oh no, no, falling from your eyes)
Oh no, tears are falling

dear God this music needs to make a comeback.
Steel Panther my dude
Check out Dirty Honey! They have an older rock n roll style and are heavily inspired by Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith.
On it
It is!
In my series The Star Covers, the main characters are rockstars and their music is based on the 80s
This song would be so badass to play live as loud as you can infront of a massive audience
They already played it live
I was around when they hit the big time in the 70’s. I think they transitioned into the 80’s with Eric (rip) and Bruce perfectly. Lot of good tunes from them.
I love this song I could listen to this all day.
its addictive tune.
Me too as I love this song alot
Right? It's really amazing how big it sounds from just guitars , drums & vocals

In these "non make-up" videos , Gene sticks out like an absolute bell end to end all bell ends. It's like Paul Stanley formed a band with his dad.
😂
“Gene stand at the back and just pretend, it’ll be over quicker’ lol still an awesome song. One of KISS’ best.

Gene Simmons is irrefutable proof that if you're in a rock band you'll get chicks no matter what you look like.

Paul Stanley has one of those voices that soothes the soul. Beautiful. My go to when I need cheering up and he never fails x

Kiss is just a handful of bands that will remain eternal and legendary forever because of their showmanship and consummate musical acumen .
Paul Stanley you take my breathe away in this video. God bless those neon colors.
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here.
I love Kiss forever. Love Paul "Thunder" Stanley! Eric and Bruce best formation.
Just listening to Eric Carr's drumming. How can this not be considered an upgrade from Peter Criss?
Because Eric Carr was a much better drummer.
@@theironmarshmallowg3932 agreed, people love to hate on the non-makeup era kiss but we all know eric carr was a better drummer than peter criss
@@GoodFellasPizza08 In the words of Peter Griffin, Peter Kris doesn’t even want to be Peter Kris LOL
Eric Carr was a fantastic drummer and backup vocalist. Just listen to his drumming and high harmonies on "Forever".
Yes, whit all respect to Peter because Is the first, but Eric Is so much better.
May be if Eric was the first, the history was another.
I've seen KISS 7 times, they just keep getting better everytime they play live!!
Except for the fact that Paul hasn't really been able to sing since around 2004. I'm a huge fan, but it's past time to hang it up.
3 times, I'm 28 ... still remember seeing Psycho Circus
@@brianboggs7455 He has trouble, but I wouldn’t dare go as far to say that he can’t sing anymore. Want to see someone who can’t sing anymore, look at Vince Neil of Motley Crue.
@@gmansgnarlyscienceshow2820 I agree about Vince, but Paul''s voice was toast years ago and he's been lip syncing most of his lead vocals for a long time now.
@@RockandRollMusic00 When he sings nice and low, it sounds amazing. Even Ace has said this. I recommend listening to his work with Soul Station.
This song is so catchy!!! They found a whole new approach and really made their mark in the 80's and how awesome they were!!

Asylum will always be my favourite KISS record and I really love this song! Especially vocal harmonies in the chorus and Bruce Kullick’s solo always give me chills. I think that guitar solo would probably be the best I have ever heard. It is just so perfect…
Way underrated.
Kullick kills, as always.
Yes! Asylum is amazing! my favorite too. i love this lineup.
Always loved Bruce's guitar solo in this, he was so hot 🔥. Loved Eric too, gone too soon R.I.P
love that solo.. Tommy can't play it
Metal head but will always love this song as I grew up listening to it and KISS forever....every incarnation.
Love that freaking intro....never gets old!!🤘😎🍺
No doubt!!!
Dustin bova Yes! It doesn’t just beckon, it commands! 👍🏼😁
I will never stop listen to KISS
I love the raspiness of Pauls voice on this track. Very unique for KISS
Great song...R.I.P Eric the best drummer they ever had
this video is proof of that! eric carr really put alot of great effort & style for this song & it shows in his great drumming for this song.
theres alot of wasted scenes in this video concerning personal drama that the video could have done without for such a good song, when they could have & should have focused only on the band members playing & nothing else, since life can be short & then may never get other chances--we think that not enough attention was paid to eric carrs drumming since you dont see alot of him in this songs video & alot of scenes were wasted on STUPID personal drama that this video could have done without--now they can go call they're personal scenes people to play for them instead, since they cant get a dead person back, no matter how much money they are willing to pay--hope they learned their lesson from this video!!
TOTALLY AGREE BROTHER!!!

Super guitar play in this song.
Bruce Kulick is a great guitarist.

Paul Stanley, one of the most underrated vocalist of his time, not just take the man had mad talent as artist/song writer as this song can clearly show
One of my favorite songs from the new version of KISS .the harmonizing is just freaking awesome...

Great song with awesome guitar playing from Bruce Kulick and Paul Stanley.
Eric Carr Hair is epic and voice in coro Tears are Falling..

Love that guitar riff on this one... stone cold classic!
Tears are falling at how good this tune is.
Perfect from start to finish, everything. Hail 80s KISS!
This is my favorite KISS song. I wish it would have got more air time back in the day, we'd hear it more on classic rock stations.

Paul Stanley is all the good in rock and roll
SOLO IS WONDERFUL
Love Bruce Kulick wish he was still with them.
The guitar SOUND in the solo is mind blowing. I have never been actual Kiss-fan but they have a couple great tunes and this track has maybe the best sounding guitar sound ever. Even in the 21st century I haven't heard anything quite as convincing - Wow!
It is amazing I must say
I used to watch this video everyday after school my sophomore yr. in high school on MTV , damn I'm getting old!!
Very Old.
you're not getting old. Young people like myself and people younger than me are discovering these old bands and becoming fans. Look at it this way- your generations, the 1960s, the 1970s and 1980s are inspiration!!

I gotta admit, my 80's teenage years, I took for granted. If I knew then what I know now. That time of my life was EPIC!
I remember this video all over MTV then. Fun times, alright.
One of their most underrated songs. So good.
It's my favorite from them, it runs deep.
It’s great the band Kiss able to produce this great song of the 80s
I'll never forget hanging out with these guys multiple times while doing guitar tech work for artists. Great memories. I still do it and hang out once in a while with all the bands I used to work with but I'm mostly a dad now now. Great times, great memories
I've got a good friend of mine that worked and was friends with them since '78. I'm watching a podcast interview with him as I type this. but, I'm not as knowledgeable about Kiss as I am about other bands. but, I've always dug this song.

This is where paul Stanley looks his most effeminate, ten years or so before he started wearing wigs. Ha ha lol.
A lot of their music sucks my friend.
Randy Rhoads oh I agree.I am not a fan of Kiss really but just saying this song here is kick ass.
Randy Rhoads In what way(s) does Kiss music "suck?"
***** They are fairly pedestrian musicians. Only Ace really knew his way around the instrument. More about flash, not a lot of substance. That's the critique anyway.
Over the years, I have said and always will say the fact that I believe this was the best Kiss lineup.
With painting and without painting, I think his music is spectacular. Like everyone, they went through their identity "crisis", but they remained great in their music
