TURNING! It is sometimes SCARY. Quick turns can be especially DISORIENTING! You might get DIZZY!
Do you ever feel like it is hard to coordinate movements of your head and body?
Practice SPOTTING! In dance, it is a tool we use to help us orient ourselves in space, giving our BRAIN a message about where we are so it can help us stay upright.
Spotting is focusing on just a few spots, rather than letting the world whirl through our eyes. Try this spotting practice. Give it some time! See how it works for you! Your body can relearn how to collaborate with itself and the world you are in for BETTER BALANCE and COORDINATION!
--Using our EYES (Vision) well gives messages to our
    --INNER EAR (Vestibular system), and
--BRAIN (and spinal cord), and that sends
--PROPRIOCEPTIVE (body sense) messages to our body so it knows how to react!
There is input to and output from all of our senses. Keep them healthy, and USE them!
