I really don't understand how you guys don't have so many more subscribers and such. Your content and quality is amazing. You can just see and hear your passion in what you guys do. Lifelong Mainer here and love you enjoy coming up here! We do have some real nice trout waters and such and i feel truly blessed everyday to have that privilege. Hope to see you guys back! Tight lines!
LOVE That you are doing this! I've enjoyed your films over the years and very excited for this series! You both are an inspiration for my wife and I who want to retire early and live our lives traveling, fishing and filming! Can't wait to follow your adventures! :)
Am sooo exciting to see this series! You both are so wonderfully talented and we are so very fortunate to be able to view it on RUclips. Thanks for sharing. :) :)
Hey, there! Happy you got back down to our neck of the woods here in west-central NC for a video. Beautiful as always. Keep it up; it’s a pleasure to watch, and re-watch, all your videos.
Western Md is my neck of the woods. Glad you came back to film and fish. I thought It was great fishing with the cicadas all around. The noise gave the whole area a jungle feel. They were on the branches, mountain laurel and even the truck. Thanks for the great videos you and Amy put out. Much appreciated.
I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say how excited I am for this series. When or if you guys ever decide to go “full time” on RUclips, it will be something very special to many people. Thank you both for your absolutely amazing content. Keep it up!
I just subscribed and already a big fan of Scotty and Wild Fly Productions. Looking forward to all the great adventures from your Channel. What a great partnership with Scotty and the crew. 👍🏼
Hope your keeping up with the TLC for that vanagon. Poetic vehicle for cross country adventures. Thanks for the best Bood X virtual experience for 2021. They were not around my area & really enjoyed seeing if only for a couple mins what it was like having them around. If you weren't under a time constraint, bet after a few days they would have started dying & hitting the water where those cool patterns would have come into use. The rare "trout" series is an epic armchair adventure if not more so IRL. Safe Journeys
As many others I Iive vicariously through you and Amy. Can't wait! Hell, have the campervan and might be able to retire in a few years. This Tight Loops series might be my roadmap. Safe and fishy travels.
Double checked the notification bell just to make sure. Can't wait for the series to start I hope it runs all the way till your 49 and back at the cidada hatch. Take care guys.
I have to say I am hooked on everything you two make the videos you post are outstanding really looking forward to the new stuff and thanks for making such good content 👍🤟
I'm so freaking pumped about the new series. Absolutely love your guys videos and they inspire me and some of my buddies to go do some awesome fishing in awesome places.
Awesome, can't wait to see the series. I never have any luck with cicadas by the way. We have tons of them every year down here in Texas and I never see them on the water.
Awesome work!! Super pumped for the new series, I love the concept. Such a great idea. I can not wait! Also I will be picking up one of those incredible drawings. So cool. Nice work!!
I really enjoy your shows and passion. You have motivated me to catch that wild brook trout I always wanted. I did it with a fly, I put up the spinning rod. Looking forward to your new shows.
Great video guys. Always love your content. We have a video coming out next week that we did on the same waters in Maryland, only we got to hit that hatch prime time as it is only an hour drive for us. Lots of great fish. Hope you all watch. Tight lines !
Ah can't wait to see it! We had friends in the area who said things really popped off about a week after we left. Who know y'all probably crossed paths
Who is your friends? we know a lot of people in the area. Our video is live, nothing near your quality but we had fun shooting it. Trying to get better behind the lens. Heading west to Montana then Colorado next week. Hoping to get some good content along the way. @@TightLoops
Top notch quality cinematography and content. Really enjoy the way you present these adventures. Love also that I recognize most places you have visited in recent videos. Just returned from YNP/NW Wyoming Wind River trip.
Chase & Aimee - Looking forward to the new series. Followed Tight Loops from the start, then onto your travels on the Summer Adrift series with MAK & Owen and most recently with Scottie at Wild Fly. Should be a great series.
K... I'm only three minutes into the video, but there needs to be more jungle/drum n bass in fly fishing videos lol. Looking forward to watching the rest.
@@dankochanek8056 ooooh, no, thats a misunderstanding. We won't be joining them in CO for their upcoming trip. We might try and link up in the fall though!
Where do you keep all your gear living in the van full time? How did yo manage to pare down enough to do that? haha My wife and I do the camping/hiking/climbing stuff without much fishing equipment and no film/photo equipment and we would definitely be pushing past the the limits of the van's storage.
If you're back in NC hit up Dave Fason and Chris Barclay! Some really cool people - Dave's a photographer and videographer, Chris is a rod maker - that can show you around to amazing small water.
the smallmouth weren't hitting these cicadas either. was just catfish and carp. I'm in like the one county of Illinois that had the brood. caught many +15lb carp, but zero bass.
Used to live there! Didn’t fish nearly enough though. I was in high school and was far more interest in skateboards and girls. Mostly fished western MD back then, hence the fascination with always returning. Half of it’s the good fishing, half of its nostalgia.
@@TightLoops I hear that. You from the panhandle then I’m assuming? I’m from Pocahontas county born and raised. Y’all ever coming through and want put on some native Brookies I’m more then willing to help anybody.
Nah, I was just a transplant, and we lived in Morgantown. Cool place, but it’s hardly “wild and wonderful”. Definitely been all over west by god, but haven’t dug into the fishing much. We’d love to some day though, WV has some of the native brook trout water south of Maine.
@@TightLoops must not of been looking in the right spots if you don’t think wild or wonderful is all I gotta say. I’ve been all over the country and WV is by far my favorite place. Maybe it’s bc I grew up idk only paces I’d consider a move to is Idaho or Montana tbh
@@calebmullenax1332 no no no, I just meant MORGANTOWN isn’t wild and wonderful. The rest of the state is spectacular. And Motown is a great place. Near and dear to my heart. It’s just not very...representative of WV as a whole, you know?
So much fun meeting up with you guys! I hope the people of the internet are ready for this series🙌🏻
Heck yeah let’s go y’all! I love it this is a great pairing!
Scotty doesn't know....
it was the best! Can't wait to be back
Glad you two crossed paths. Looking forward to a future collab 🤙🏼
That is awesome! I’m so envious that Aimee fishes with you. My wife does once in awhile and I think it’s great when she does. Great vid

The warm water fish were way more into the Brood X. Carping was insane

She casts well
You bet she does. And she learned to cast that well no more than 20 minutes after picking up a fly rod for the first time
