Nice detail in the video, I am thinking about replacing mine with this one on my 2024 Expedition also, too bad the wiring harness is so chunky behind the mirror.
As previously commented on, I was immediately concerned about Airbag danger in the A-Pillar (should have removed the A-Pillar cover and routed/secured the wire to ensure no Airbag deployment restrictions), as well as the noted rear window interference. I also question how secure the rear power wire is routed under the front windshield header....there is a ton of space between the header and the glass.....I bet the wire will fall back out and droop down in front of the glass. You pretty much have to remove the sun visor and A Pillar cover so you can drop down the header and then use gorilla duct tape to fix the cable on the backside of the header.....or shove it even deeper behind the header connection points to keep the cable from falling back out. Also worth noting is that tapping into the mirror power is fine, but will ONLY give your camera power while driving....You won't have any parking mode surveillance capabilities while the car is shut off and you are out of the vehicle. Other than that, you did a pretty good job of bringing this product to the attention of those looking for an integrated solution. If you only want a front facing camera, Dongar Technologies makes quick and simple mirror power adapters to work with virtually any dash cam. dongar.tech/
@@joefriday6324 thank you for your suggestions. So far this camera has been working great and the wiring not coming out from the front. I also repositioned rear camera to the right side, small rear windows opens up unrestricted. That one mistake I made

How do you open your sliding rear window now that the camera is blocking the path?
Hey i made that mistake, my friend was so sure that the window opens to the right 😂 camera fell off and than i mounted it on the eight. Lol

Is it only for Ford truck, or can it work on a Chevy Avalanche 2009
Its only for Ford Truck sue to the design of the bracket with a screw, also rain sensor connector is different.
