what does programing the valve body to the transmission involve?
Pulled the first one because it only loaded half the video. Don't know how that is even possible, but it did. There are a couple of ways to get that done. One is to have a mobile programmer come and do it. If you are at a shop, Transtar has a box you can get from them. The RAP box, that is what we use. You pay them a fee for each program that you do. Either way you will need the numbers on the tag that is either on the transmission or valve body. You need both the valve body ID # and the solenoid strategy #.
@@CurmudgeonTransmission I had no idea they did that on the new transmissions. They are just getting harder and harder. Looks like DYI days of Transmission building has come to and end...quick learn is one thing but now the valve body needs programing....geeeese
