Thanks guys.. Our baby is just a month younger than Joshua and I just smiled hearing all these experiences as they were largely same as ours, but it seems Mike is more masculine than I am..lol. Circumcision was a nightmare for me o. The doctor said that when we get home and he bleeds, we should get back. We saw small blood clot from the cut after some hours and I didn't take any chances o, we drove back to the hospital sharp sharp. The man just removed it and after that, baby was ok and everything fully healed after about 2 weeks. But worse than circumcision was actually regular immunization, the injection and the 2-day fever that comes with it. I almost cry for my baby every single time. I and my wife are taking baby for the next one this Thursday and I'm not looking forward to it at all. I've asked my employer to just give me Thursday and Friday off because this will be the first one without my mother in-law... Would like to also hear about your experience.
If it was a nightmare for you how do you think the torture was for your poor son? It never fully heals as the part you robbed him of will never heal but be lost for good. No, immunisation is nothing like as severe as an amputation and is a medical procedure not a medicalised ritual, big difference! If you really felt for your baby you would of course never put him through such ritualised torture as a penectomy!

It's not judging at all. And I get your point. But daddy duties or taking care of the baby is a big umbrella. It could mean bathing or cleaning him up or more. How best do you describe having to just hold him and not do anything? 😂 Thanks for your point sha.
I have had 4 children by the grace of God, 3 by C section and even now I look in the mirror and I see a “hottie” looking back at me.😄. Tip: Just be moderate and your body is likely to respond to you. God has created our bodies to be amazing. Give it time and you can look like your children’s sister. 😅 Just don’t be excessive, don’t over eat, don’t fight , don’t worry, pray about your body and GET HELP even if you have to pay for it. Uncle boo. You don’t need to wash 3 bathrooms. 😢. Your son is not likely to ask you how many bathrooms you washed. Pay for a CLEANER!!!!. You are parents of a NEW born. Take care of your baby, do the parts of your job that only you can do AND PAY others to do the rest. I am 51 and when I tell anyone, they refuse blatantly to believe. Why ? Because I treat myself like I treated my babies, with GREAT CARE and plenty of rest. I hope that helps someone. 🎉
Great comment on feeling beautiful and maintaining your body. On your comment about washing bathrooms, you're wrong to assume doing that means I don't take care of my baby. And it is pretty easy to just say "pay others..." But it doesn't always work that way. Thanks.

What I am suggesting is the BECAUSE you are spending so much time taking care of a newborn baby, it may to too much on you to also be doing so much housework also. I know how hard it can be taking care of a baby so that why I am saying it may be too much holding down both housework and a baby. I hope you understand. I would NEVER criticise new parents. Number 1 it’s not my place to do so, Number 2, it is highly ignorant to do so because taking car of a newborn is SUCH hard work. You are both doing an AMAZING job.🤗🙏 On your comment about it not being so straightforward to pay someone, I totally get it and agree with you. So may be I should have said “if it is something that is suitable for you and you are willing to do” Anyway, thanks for being so respectful in your response. To correct Postpartum depression comes after postpartum blues.. Postpartum blue is a stage actually that if not taken care of it can advance to depression ..Just like stage one (Postpartum blues) to stage 10 ( Postpartum depression).
