Nice setup. You should be able to plant in the ground, with your setup.

@@alfredoutrilla4472 I had a cara cara orange in ground for a year, had to dug it out as I’m surrounded by trees and some other roots was choking my orange. Might try to elevate the soils a bit this coming spring.

Hello I'm in Connecticut as well. Last week the temps dropped in the single digits, how did your plants do ? What kind of plants do you have, I thought I saw a Soursop plant ? Take care

@@GUSGUS1331 hello neighbor! The green house warms up at night and maintains at 45*F. Even though we had very cold days, the sun warmed up my greenhouse to the 70s*F. I recently added incandescent lights and 5 gallon buckets with water, surprisingly this has increased the temp by 5*F during night time. Citrus is thriving, the only pant that has little first damage is my abiu plant (native to South America) but I think it’s due to the fact that leaves were touching the greenhouse plastic. I have 9-10 citrus plants, 1 abiu, about 12 peppers overwintering, 1 rosemary that is not cold hardy, eucalyptus, and some fig cuttings.

I am in NJ and got a Brown Satsuma and Meiwa Kumquat in the ground with protection ideas from the Millennial Gardener.

@@rauljimenez8132 I’m planning to do the same this coming spring. I’ll be planting a brown select satsuma in ground 🤞with similar protection to my greenhouse just no heat

@ My setup gets heat from C9 Christmas lights and red bricks around (graft area) them.
