Meant to say Resident Evil: Code Veronica got swapped with 3, but confused the two in my head during recording
- Lucas
Still think the bit when Nemesis is first introduced in RE2 [film] is peak comedy.
Dude rolls up on a military black-ops squad. Flashes his pimped handguns with a "Bitch, my shit's custom!" Nemesis wipes out everything EXCEPT that dude, reads an armed civilian a "Minor Threat," then when he drops the guns voluntarily, Nemesis updates him as "No Threat" and just LEAVES. Fucking hilarious to me still. XD
I like that the talking about the boulder punching Chris and then in RE 8 the main villain reference it and calls Chris a boulder punching idiot and since it was only him there at the point in RE 5 it means that Chris had to brag about it so much to any one who would listen that it got to the ears of Miranda
it was heisenberg that said it not miranda

"Jesse, we got to punch the boulder Jesse."
From my understanding, the umbrella corporation makes bio weapons to sell to the highest bidder,be it the us government or some foreign militia. The outbreaks are usually caused by accidents or a single high-ranking person going rouge and are not intended (most of the time).
But that's the thing: who would buy these as weapons? They're not better than just using regular soldiers and they're too indiscriminate to effectively kill a specific target.
Imagine if they actually made Nemesis French, instead of expclaiming "stars" he just says "étoiles" and Jill just says "Oh no, it's French, run!"
(edit: typos)
Has Nemisis ever been in a Mortal Kombat game? If not Id love to hear the dialogue between Nemesis and Jason Voorhees cause there has to be some great quips between the two lol
The Uroboros monster can also be 1-shot by a rocket launcher. Salazar has to be shot open so he's slightly tougher, but he's almost as lame. (I do it every time because the fights aren't very fun) Nemesis is literally just built different.
I love listening to fellow nerds chat about geeky shit... you guys are great.
Agreeing about Nemesis' weakness: It just feels so weird for characters who's powers are taking damage on the chin without flinching, that merely not being immune to something means it is a weakness. Superman for example, he's not necessarily "weak" to magic, it's just that he's no more defended than the average person.
Never heard the story about RE0 and Nemesis switching places, I'd always heard it was Nemesis and Code Veronica that switched between being a numbered game and a side game.
It was, I pinned a comment as I just misspoke during recording.
In UMvC3, you can see where Capcom characters land on the Marvel power scale. It confirms RE5 Chris is actually Stronger, Smarter, and Faster than Spider-Man!
I mean have you seen the gunfight of Chris vs some white haired guy in an animated movie (think it was resident evil vendetta). Like 50 bullets got fired and noone got hit, without cover i might add.
It's the boulder punching
I like the welcome to raccoon city film, i hope the sequel is better tho, i hope it really pops off as a film franchise
Who else was really disappointed with the nemesis in the remake?
Why does he turn into a weird crawly thing?
My first re3 experience was playing the remake and I fucking loved it, but after researching the original I can see why people were so annoyed by the remake he's hardly nemesis at all, literally and character wise, I really like his original design and he should've stayed humanoid for the most of the game
He looks cooler imo but he's pathetic
Everyone. He wasn't abusive enough.
The only resident evil games ive plated myself are the first and biohazard. I am a coward and struggle to make any progress in the first one but Biohazard was loads of fun! I've seen Lucas stream some of the other games and thoroughly enjoy them when I'm not in control haha
How good of a bioweapon is i think ethan? The resident evil 7 and 8 mold protagnist thats got an amazing healing factor when near herbs.
Another look at my wiki, eh? Always something good in that grab-bag.
You guys are seriously underestimating how hot lava is. Also, Nemesis is weak to acid and the Uroboros/Wesker was weak to fire.
The satellite cannon isn't actually that powerful since you can accomplish the same result in game with the rocket launcher faster. It takes multiple shots from the satellite to kill the boss but only one rocket.
There is only *one* Nemesis! He's an alien warlord with supernatural powers and fights against the Inquisition.
Change my mind.
Really love the content you guys put out. If you ever get a chance, I’d check out 40k lore sometime. Insane how many band names can be held in one universe
Hearing Karl mains Nemesis in that Capcom game i really wished he also main Nemesis in Dead by Daylight
I thought everyone was angry that they didn't keep the VA from Resident Evil 2 for Ada, not her character design itself?
Please do a wiki about metal gear solid 4 production
12:00 so basicly Pepe le Pew
It pains me every time Karl misspronounces jovovich. Only because I loved the original resident evil movie so I watched it a million times. She says in the commentary how to pronounce her name. I’m a loser, I know Karl, but there’s not a K in there. Love the content, keep up the great work guys.
you can kill the worm ball with a single rocket toooooo
How has no one mentioned that resident evil code Veronica was meant to be resident evil 3, not 0 - 0 was always a prequel and was originally developed for the N64
Check the pinned comment 👍
@@wikiweekends my bad, i must of skipped over that and skimmed through the others, I feel a fool now, sorry mate, you guys put out great stuff and I should have done better
I think Lisa Trevor is more durable. Doesn't her infection make her completely immortal
The ship oroborus can be killed by a rocket.
S.T.A.R.S!
STA~RS!
Am I misremembering this or could you actually destroy Nemesis' rocket launcher in the original Resi 3?
I'd say the most durable enemy might be Jack Baker from 7, dude keeps coming back after god knows how many times you put him down
Operation Raccoon City wasn't a bad game, it's a decent team based shooter and takes place during the outbreak, the only complaints i have is that it's more of a fanfic then being canon.
