*Something went wrong when I tried to publish this video earlier. Sorry about that. Here is my second attempt.* 🤷‍♂
Now, before I get to many complaints about not showing the removal and install let me explain. My mouth hurts, my tongue hurts and it is very difficult to talk at this moment. I wanted to show you but try and keep it shorter so this is what you got. Until I heal up and learn how to speak again you'll have to bear with me in the videos.
    Cheers,
    Eric O.

I wore an appliance like that when I was getting my teeth straightened as a teen. It takes a bit, but you will get used to it and learn to talk again. A year later, when my appliance was no longer necessary, it took a while to learn to talk again. But, in my case, the effort was worth it and my teeth looked so much better after 5 years of braces and 1.5 years of a semi-permanent retainer at the back of my lower incisors. Hang in there.

I had to wear one of those expanders in the roof of my mouth to force the bones back into place when I was in 3rd grade in 1984. It hurt to wear and I had to learn how to talk with it. This is the first mechanic video I have seen where a punch kit was used for install of seal assembly. Great job. I usually cringe watching others use hammer and screw driver for install. Which can damage the outer races and possibly affect the performance of the part.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, your content is educational regardless of your speech. Thanks again for suffering through making the video.

Good job! I am an old Pontiac mechanic from the 1960s, but I could still smell that gear oil clear through your video. Been watching ALL of your videos for several years and enjoyed every one of them. A vast majority of them are very educational, especially videos on electronic issues. Keep up the good work, and I wish you a quick recovery from your health issue.

I was in a bad motorcycle accident that cracked 1 neck vertebrae and 1 in my back, cracked 2 ribs, my arm, right foot, cracked upper jaw (which shattered all my teeth) and %30 road rash.
With the shattered teeth, the dentist used UV cured glue to glue them back and keep them from just falling apart. Needless to say, I had to have them all removed. To learn to talk again after getting dentures sucked. So I completely understand what your going through.

Hey Eric. Nice job on the seal job!
Don’t worry about the ignorant people that bash you on your speech impediment. It’s just a temporary thing.
I know you say that you have a thick skin towards certain things but It does hit home some days. You are human after all and you do have feelings from what we see in your videos.
Keep up the excellent work and Mrs. O is such a sweetheart backing you like any good woman should.
Take care and all the best for 23!

I love SMA content. I always learn something new. It's always entertaining and funny. I love Eric's attention to detail and it's always great that he explains what hes doing, why, what happened, how to fix it properly. I had to cut the drivers side front lower control arm off an 07 civic as the bolt was seized in the bushing. If not for Eric O I would not have known how to do the job properly, and I always put fluid film on everything now lol. Thanks Eric O lol. You and the lovely Mrs. O have a wonderful day..

Great video! I was doing the break-in Diff fluid change on my Camaro ZL1. I accidently spilled one of the new bottles by bumping it with my shoulder...never again, I couldn't get the smell out of my driveway for about 2 months. I wanted to throw up every time I went outside of my house and smelled diff fluid. And to think, this is NEW diff fluid that smelled that bad....I couldn't imagine what burnt diff fluid smells like.

As a bearing aficionado, those were some beautiful tapered roller bearings on that input gear and high point gear!

Eric, you are a trooper! I hope your mouth heals quickly, i know what its like to have hardware in your mouth, i had the whole setup when i was in my 30's and it was tough but you muddle through. Thanks for the video, it was really interesting to see the inside of that case, those are the things my dad never showed me before he passed away, so thank you. I may not be a mechanic but i learn alot about how things work and try to put it all together. Love from AZ ❤

Man, you had me nervous as heck thinking you weren’t going to play the brake cleaner sound. You pulled through though, thank you.
