- The Jawa 42 Bobber is powered by the same 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 30.64PS and 32.74Nm as the Perak. It is mated to a six-speed
|||
gearbox. It gets the same underpinnings as the Perak which includes a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup which is retuned for better comfort. For braking, it gets discs at both ends.
The Jawa 42 Bobber is priced at Rs 2,06,500 for the Mystic Copper colour variant, Rs 2,07,500 for the Moonstone White paint scheme and Rs 2,09,187 for the dual tone Japer Red colourway (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
The Jawa 42 Bobber is based on the Perak, however, it is a more modernised and sporty version of the same. It gets a muscular fuel tank with knee recesses and a redesigned LED headlight unit. It sports an all new cushiony saddle with revised ergonomics and footpegs positions seem to offer a comfortable riding posture.

Yes now it is possible to install a flip dual seat from After Market like Karol Bagh Delhi.. But mind you Bobber are meant for Single Seater only.

People tend to forget that bobbers are not meant to be ridden with pillion on board. And that's by it emits a rear seat! IT'S NOT BUILD FOR THAT PURPOSE! It's so annoying hearing people complaining about pillion seat for a freaking bobber! Get a 42 2.0 or classic or some other bike if you want rear seat! Understand the purpose of a bobber built! You won't ask apple to support Android as optional, exactly it doesn't makes sense!
Stop complaining on a stupid reason! If you want a practial bike look for something else! They changed the footpegs and did all necessary changes and didn't added a rear seat because it's not meant to be! Stop being naive.

Just like any other small bike. Splendor k bagal mei khadi kardo koi mud k dekhega bhi nhi. Go for bigger bikes classic 350 or a meteor.
Royal En-field Reborn Engines are far better in driving in day to day usage.
The new engines are very refined no doubt, but they lack the heat management and it becomes unbearable after a time! A lot of people buy royal enfield for emotion but form a product point of view, only classic 350 makes sense everything else is just the brand taking money by selling underengineered bikes/products! The seat comfort is average! The vibration is unpleasant at best! And the riding experience takes a back seat from the very annoying handling. And that's coming after owing both! A jawa and RE!
@@Messiah_V J series Engines of RE are better than those of Jawa in terms of vibrations and smoothness. Jawa is better in performance. But for a slow and city rides found RE J series engines to be much better. I have also also owned RE UCE engines, they were really annoying in terms of vibrations and maintenance.
