  • By June 1992, ValueVision was buzzing with activity, having just completed its first eight months on the air. The channel, a fresh face in the home shopping world, was staffed by a familiar lineup of former Cable Value Network (CVN) stars-CVN having been snatched up and shuttered by QVC. On screen, viewers were treated to the engaging presence of hosts like Susan Garrett, Tim Temple, Carmela Richards, Steve Sedahl, Wes McCoy, and Pam McCoy. While Pam was the new kid on the block, bringing a fresh perspective to the industry, the rest of the team had already built a solid reputation in the world of home shopping. Together, they dazzled audiences with a dynamic array of segments, each brimming with the excitement and charm that only a seasoned crew could deliver.

Ah, the days when VVTV owned a network of low-power TV stations. That's the only way they could get eyeballs in the day. K07UI is gone (after a short stint at WTMS running Telefutura) but W62BD still lives as Daystar's WDMI.
