Ignite/Damned as a Warlock has a bunch of additional synergies like -6 mana cost with cinder song, 30% mana efficiency with Isadora set and of course T7 spellslinger firestarter for the -9 mana cost. Additionally Warlock can use Fissure proc Chaos bolts (which also get all this mana cost reduction) to generate mana from hitting cursed enemies while you are channelling. This sorta works but the problem is global ignite/damned chance is so rare compared to bleed and the Ghostflame node only works on global chance rather than fire/necrotic skill chance.
funny you mention chaos bolt lich. I did just come up with a bleed setup that includes chaos bolt, rip blood and bone curse wich i'd love to get input on from a more experienced build crafter. i found an interaction between 2 legendary items: font of the erased (Ring) and symbol of demise (bleed / Ward interaction). I wish i'd get some insight into how that approach could be optimised since I dont really know what i should be aiming for. I kinda see a crit spell build that applies bleed stacks, but i dont know if that is possible to do. I do reach around 300 to 400 stacks of bleed on the dummy with a makeshift set of gear. The symbol of demise will remove all your ward every 3 seconds and give you stacks of a buff, increaseing bleed chance and duration. As you've said in this video, Lich running death seal doesnt really get much out of ward. If i am not mistaken, you usually can not generate any ward while death seal is active. Thats where font of the erased comes into play. Font of the erased grants you ward per missing mana on hit if your ward is below your missing health. And this works with death seal active as well. With both chaos bolt and bleed overload triggering blood splatter, you get a lot of hits off very quickly. I am not sure if this works as intended or is actually a bug, but it does work for me very well. My Lich only has around 1750 HP, yet my ward will sit around 1100 inside death seal due to font of the erased, wich makes for 84 stacks of demise. Its a very active playstyle tho. You'd want to reach an HP threshold to cap out the stacks (wich is 100 stacks according to lastepochtools) and stay pretty low on mana in order to be able to stack ward. Thats not too hard to do, since chaos bolt can be slightly mana positive if it hits a cursed enemy. It also reapplies the curse and can recast bone curse automatically. So you end up spamming bone curse to get low on mana, wich will stay like that for quite a while spamming chaos bolts. I'd love to see something like this as a proper, well rounded build.
One other note, I also did a marrow shards version, and crit wasn't where it really stood out. It was the ability to use a lot of the "on hit" effects from the warlock passive tree that you normally can't as a DoT build. Stacking damned, withering, etc. It also allows you to use the various overloads, but I personally found it a bit too fiddly for my taste.
its sad balance wise that the top end dmg is so high but i feel obligated to do it to farm higher corruptions to not "waste" my time. At least for now, once ive got enough things to get me going then id go for these comfort builds. Hope they somehow scale the corruption rewards like poe's delve, as in the rare nodes are more abundance so it scale the echo rewards, but the base rarity is somewhat diminish
How much does the extra damage on moving enemies help for bosses? They seem to stand still most of the time, and DOTs are tick based in LE instead of constant like in POE, so does that mean they only take the extra damage if moving during the tick?
Wrongwrap tooltip is wrong. It provides 3% Damage per 1% movement speed. Double bugged item. As such, it would provide you with Spell Damage% + Damage over time% + Physical Damage% all at once. It would likely be your BiS especially since Ghostflame is also providing a significant damage boost. Do note that reduction to movement speed does not matter for Wrongwrap: it cares only about your % movement speed increases. It would also provide you with the before and after transplant for 1 sec and a potential stun to bosses. Wrongwrap is very competitive! You could easily reach 800% DoT damage, Physical damage, spell damage with this weapon alone and solve your survivability issue.
@@apocryphascribe5019 I use my setup, character sheet %dmg show up as such, and I deal Damage Over Time without being specced in it. It's just how it is. Can get 900% spell damage 900% phys, fire, cold, necrotic, DoT, etc etc. You can equip a wrongwrap yourself and see how it behaves on your character sheet it's quickly noticed too.
Always Never Not Stop Warpathing™:Necrotic Boogaloo. Very, very nice. (:

Sir, Your warpath looks very strange, You may need to check it
Thats the new skill, menstruation path
@@vamps3000 that sounds painful, You may need to check it for real 😂
Great video! I noticed you moused over Stygian Coal several times but never talked about it though lmao
Honestly one more "more multiplier" i want to see is from the mastery base passives when they give dmg ... Cuz alot of them are just increased
I've been working on a version of this as a warlock for the last few days and have had some good results.
Got build planner, perchance?

I wonder if the new changes to allow mana to regen during channeling skills could fix the survivability problems you touch on early in the video?

Perhaps the flame whip weapon could work for +9 to ghostflame. For ignite version tho
I would like to know if this is still viable in cycle 2 and if there are any changes u would make
doesnt the snapshotting also imply that you can have the effects from death seal and keep them when it runs out and then profit from getting ward?
Enter Monolith, Tpose to objective, refuse to explain, leave.
How about a marrow shards? I mean his tree will be work if i use ghost flame?

Wait, are you sure about the damage being generic? How did you test it?
