The Operator IFAK is an Immediate First Aid Kit designed for the initial treatment of a major trauma casualty. Primarily designed for Police, Military and Shooters & Hunters the Operator IFAK is a no BS compact trauma kit. Whether you are on the range or on patrol don't get caught without a good trauma kit.
Jezza! Good to see you're doing well mate!
Seeing pictures of the Green Colored Tactical Medical Solutions Operator IFAK on Tactical Medical Solutions website is 1 thing but a different story on RUclips!
Nailed it!
Looks good.
Could any 1 of y'all below please somehow get the Tactical Medical Solutions Operator IFAK in Green Color show it on RUclips make it as clear as possible & reveal which 1 of the 2 colors below the Green Colored Tactical Medical Solutions is 2 y'all: Darker OD (Olive Drab) Green or lighter but fadish Greyish Green (Ranger Green) because I really need 2 know 4 certain/4 sure before deciding whether or not 2 attach it 2 my OD Green LA Police Gear Original 3 Day Backpack?
Most useless IFAK I've ever seen :(
Feel free to elaborate on how a CoTCCC approved tourniquet with trauma dressing and chest seal ect is "useless".
Useless for any serious trauma.
I just came back from Iraq, worked there as a combat medic and I can tell you once - this IFAK is absolute useless, believe or or not.
SAKOSNIPER we understand trauma. Between us we have dozens of deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan ect. if you are a combat medic you'd understand that an IFAK is for immediate care of an individual. This basic kit for non-medics (ie can't use needles for decompression or naso airways). I'd be interested to hear what items you'd place in a small IFAK pouch instead of just stating it's useless??
- 5.11 IFAK Pouch
- SOFT-T x 2
- XGauze
- Israeli Bandage
- Emergency Bandage
- QuikClot Combat Gauze
- FAST FTS
- FAST CWS
- Decompression Needle
- 3M Medical Tape 1'
- NPA
- Latex Gloves
P.S: Have never seen Australian medics in Iraq, though :)
Most useless comment ever. If you have a better idea for anyone that isn't trained as a medic (because in many countries a 14 Guage needle for pneumothorax and a nasopharyngeal tube is a no go, because if you cock it up your skewed and liable)
@tacmed
Pretty much what I have in my IFAK, pretty cool kit. Mine has the following.
2X CAT tourniquets
Packing gauze
Bandages
2x mini tampons (yep tampons)
2 chest seals with valves
1xClotting gauze
Trauma sheers
Bandages (twist method for direct pressure)
Space blanket
Gloves
