Life changed for my household when I started going to bed at 9pm and getting up at 5am.
A wise woman told me the only time a Mother can control is when she rises in the morning. My 5am to 7am hours are more productive that 9pm to 11pm.
Devotional time, meal planning, bill paying, grocery orders placed, laundry started, breakfast etc. Try it!
I also get up early and get so much done when everyone else is sleeping. and as a mother, it's nice to be able to eat a meal alone without a lot of mess =).
if the band aid box is metal, keep it and just keep refilling it. The metal box will hold up better than the paper band aid boxes.
Decluttering always relieves so much anxiety for me ❤

I love this kind of videos. Everyone can declutter but the habits you implement to keep your house decluttered is so important to continue to keep a tidy home.
I only started watching your videos on the weekend as it was about decluttering your mother's place. I enjoyed it.
I understand that part of the youtuber business is sponsorship. I'm one of these people that will not buy anything I'm strictly being sold for the sake of selling. What will sell to me is watching the youtuber actually use products over time, such as washing your clothes with X brand over time or eating product X over time. I had seen so many selling this one protein bar and I was at a store that actually sold them and I bought one and it was horrible.
At the end of the video and I'll watch the declutter playlist as that's where my mindset currently is so saying that, I guess that's another reason that it is hard to sell me anything...lol

I'd say keep the ice pack bandage as part of your first aid items. Injuries are bound to happen. You just hope you don't need to use it often.

With the oldfashioned tooth brushes you're supposed to make tiny, tiny circles, almost like the brush is at the same spot and rotate on the spot.
Think if you had an expensive, richly ornamented, delicate object that you had to clean with a tooh brush; how would you do it?
Not with hard, long strokes as they do it in the movies anyway...

I would put a date on that icepack holder, if you don’t use it in like a year then get rid of it. I do this with my clothes, if I don’t use them in a year they can go. Maybe not if it’s formal wear or something really special.

I have heard if you have not used it in a year get rid of that I however have a hard time with that depending on what it is.
One other thing, you said you do not stock pile. You are living in incertain times and this year at least in Virginia certain items in the grocery store have gone up liķe canola and vegetable oil, flour, sugar and others so if you use any of these things and others you can look up when or if they go one sale, you should get some.
You have really come so far in your declutterring journey!

I have always folded, hung my clothes as soon as they come out of dryer. My mother taught my sister and I to do that. It’s done and not staring at me and getting wrinkles -lol! She also taught us to laundry once a week. She said saves $$ and you need less clothes. I still do laundry the same to this day and I am 71 years old. LOL. But everyone has their way and their needs - no judgement here!❤
Since I don't wear foundation make up is something I really never buy. I do stock up on toilet paper and paper towels just from last time we had a hurricane hit. Just had one hit Monday

I have trouble saying no to anything free so I take it go through it and if it's stuff we don't need or like i just donate it and if it's pet food we can't use I give it to a dog pound or clinic or shelter were they keep dog's, cat's and maybe bird's depending on what kind of food it is and if it's our kind of food that we can't eat or don't like I either give it to a friend that needs it or a food pantry

I say toss the ice pack holder, if you have not reached for it you probably won’t, plus would you even think of it when you would use it? If no, toss. If you would think of it, where would you know to find it?

My mother hand made a set of flannel items for me for my baby shower. I received so many other things from other people. Would it be OK if I gave the handmade gifts back to my mother?

Don't you think this would upset your mother to reject her gift like this? If you don't like it put it on the baby once when she visits so she can see it being used, then after washing it quietly donate it. If she ever mentions it just say it got damaged so you had to bin it

unfortunately that electrical tooth brush movement is not healthy for the gums. you are supposed to place the brush at the gums and wiggle it gently to the left and right with a downward movement. how i know this? unfortunately i was brushing way too hard and with the wrong technique and due to that my gums have receded. my dental hygienist explained me the 'right' way.
I am thinking I’ll turn down the settings so it’s more gentle!
