This is an update to the previous video, which now includes most of the legendaries, but not all of them are brought back. Their animations are such a downgrade from previous generation's. SunSteel Strike and Moongeist Beam when used by the combine forms lost the corruption effects 😢

Also same thing happened to Origin Dialga, Palkia and Giratina with their special animations
@peterjanoski1681 ugh, no cap I miss the cutscenes that the legendary would have, especially when they add little details like the corruption or how the weather trio had special animations when they used there new signature moves
I miss the cutscenes that the special moves would have, so good just to lose them.
Removing the option to turn battle effects off was a mistake anyway, since that's why cutscenes are bit of a downgrade from SwSh.

So did anyone notice that Origin Pulse (Kyogre) and Dragon Energy (Regidrago) are practically the exact same?
Yup, I bet if gen 9 didn't absolutely butcher the attack animations it wouldve been different
@cheems5015 Not to be rude or anything, but they kinda had to given all the pokemon and it being in real time, not to mention this game was rushed up it's butt.

Yeah cause they were cutscenes. Scarlet violet can’t have cutscene moves because of the free open world camera.

@@jeremiahgreen5632 I still don't understand why they did not reuse the PLA animations. Most of the contact moves in PLA really make contact. The only one I can remember that doesn't was Regigias' Crush Grip. I was so disappointed that time because I was excited to see Regigas grab my opponent and crush it. haha
If kantonion Articuno had a signature move and it wasn’t anything new it would probably be sheer cold
Maybe OP suggestion, but hear me out 👀 what if Lunar Dance not only does it kill Cresselia but the pokemon that swaps in it heals according to % of health Cresselia had left and removes statuses, it gives a 1.5x boost to all stats 👀 but Cresselia will move last when using this move

They did Roar of time so dirty compared to Spacial rend. ROT kept nothing from its original animation, its just a generic laser now
I just don't get why they included all other cover legendaries and not Xerneas, Yveltal or Zygarde, and also included all Necrosmas but not Ultra Necrozma. Seems like a really weird take.
Ultra Necrozma requires Z crystals to activate. As for Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde, I have no idea.

Sacred fire is Ho-oh's attack
Up until gen 8 both entei and ho-oh learned sacree fire but idk about gen 9
technically speaking is Ho-ho signature move, but entei can also use the move@@krisbelch1776

Thunder, Blizzard and Overheat are actually not signature moves.
They know. But they wanted to showcase those legendaries anyways and those moves are iconic to them.
I feel as tho moltres should’ve used fire blast as it would’ve followed the other moves power and accuracy lol

You can argue eruption being a “signature move” for Groudon.
Also, so many of the animations are a massive downgrade since the last gens.
They WERE in gen 1 until they added them to other pokemon in gen 2

Some moves got better, others got worse, like they got real lazy in this game and it’s super sad.
Edit: sword and shield have amazing move animations, and I really prefer the old style of battling instead of the open battle we have. For a game like arceus yeah sure, but these games? Nah, I’m good.

I guess they include too many pokemon. I could see the quality improvement happening IF pokemon company stopped adding pokemon to their new game. if they stop now and focus on existing pokemon for 10 years ahead we would get the best quality pokemon games ever. it’s just sad seeing mario and zelda keeping up with modern specs without sacrificing quality, meanwhile pokemon game just went downhill with their bugs, lessening quality, and didn’t stick to their core value
That's not the problem. They work on a game for 3 years, which games like this need a couple more years to polish. They used to include every single Pokemon in the 3DS era and quality never really hampered, but it declined when they stopped bringing them back.

Ok its been said, but Overheat, thunder, Blizzard, heavy slam, water spout, stone edge, sacred Sword and the like are not signture moves, you can just say none, some just dont have it, hell, you kept out mew, and mews whole thing is being able to learn every move some older gen Pokemon just dont get them

Suicune's sig move is Aurorabeam not Surf. And surf is not a signature move.

I like pokemon, I understand it's a kids game but christ is this game ugly. If they refuse to add on a battle frontier at least let AI make a texture pack or something, this is atrocious
I think that many people are going too harsh on this game. Yes, the textures of the environment are not the best, but like, just look at the models of Pokémon like Registeel, and tell me they're ugly.
@@GKMedohThe problem is that the graphics are inconsistent. The Pokemon models actually are probably the best we got since sprites, but the actual game is ugly.
