Was sad to see Maisie go as I did like her getting a chance as an amateur performer but I hadn’t heard about the scholarship - that is awesome for her! Plus I think between these women it is so hard to choose as they are all awesome.
Tobias and Desmonda were definitely my favorites. Great chemistry, very sweet, wonderful vocals. I thought Callum's elimination was justified. By this point, though he has a nice voice, he had problems several times with vocals and acting through song. And by not learning more musical theater when he was given the chance several times, he has given them enough reason to doubt that he would do enough of the work that's needed to do to be ready for 8 shows a week. Owen and Stevie were also cute and had wonderful chemistry.
When Leah said about being a gay woman I thought you know what, I think we're ready for a female or non-binary sky... why not? Wouldn't even need to change the name.
If they are actually swapping the couples around (which I didn't realize was going to happen but makes total sense !), it will be very interesting to see how Desmonda fares. Tobias really brought out the best in her acting and vice versa.
Cameron did the same for Jessie Buckley, gifted her a RADA (I think) Shakespeare course after I'll Do Anything. And look at the actress she turned out to be!

Judges got it spot on again. Callum needed to go, as for the girls it could have gone either way. Leah in trouble, she had a bad week she looked very uncomfortable in the acting. Desmonda & Tobias give the best performance.
Felt quite sorry for Esmé this week. I noticed too that Marcellus was not returning her side glances and felt he threw her to the wolves a bit ! She seemed really positive only to have the judges make negative comments that absolutely broke her, you could tell. Interesting that they put her with Marcellus when the obvious height choice for her would have been Owen 🤔
was waiting patiently for this one!! once again i may get a little carried away but i have no one to discuss about this show to so here I am. Steph and Callum - painful awful, neither of them sounded good and for me was the worst performance. Esme and Marcellus - to be honest I don't remember what they performed I just noted that Marcellus was really good and Esme might be in trouble. Maisie and Craig - wasn't sure about them together, felt craig had been a bit set up song choice wise , and I wasn't feeling the performance from Maisie at all, they both sounded pretty bad and I didn't like it at all. Leah and Zackiel - the song choice made the performance for me feel more like a singing match rather than a duet. Onto the favourites for this week, Stevie and Owen were a great pairing, I enjoyed the vibes between them in the interviews and felt the emotion in the performance and singing, loved the harmonies and they both sounded amazing vocally. Also Desmonda and Tobias got a great song given to them, they had a great performance with great vocals and they felt really professional. Regarding this week i'm very much looking forward to Tobias and Stevie, i think Leah and Marcellus will be a very interesting duo to watch, and i hope this week might be the week i warm to steph as i quite like owen.
If these couple analogies ("this pairing are like high-school sweethearts who have broken up...") don't become a recurring element of these reviews, I will... write a strongly-worded letter. I'm surprised you're so lukewarm about Craig though, lol. It's true that he might not immediately fit the stereotypical image of Sky, but there's no denying he has STAGE PRESENCE. It's clear he knows how to work a stage. It's also clear he's very professional about his work, both in how he conducts himself with others, and in his vocal choices with singing. That's gotta count for something.
Callum is a fantastic actor but his devil-may-care attitude on this show will not bode well for him in the industry ! He did not show commitment. His vocals were very weak as well. Definitely not an MT candidate.

Having seen Desmonda live last week... VOCALLY STUNNING. There's a scene in Aladdin....you'll know the one where jasmine is talking to her friends and watching Desmonda in that scene I can see her doing the similar scene (you know the one) in mama Mia
Just wanted to ask Mickey if you are going to see Two Strangers (carry a cake across New York). I would love a review of it but I appreciate there are a lot of shows you see 😊
So I didn't get the chance to cover it in an official capacity because I had a clash with another show, BUT I am super intrigued by it and hoping to make it along soon!
Although Maisie was the obvious choice to leave in terms of experience, I thought her voice was perfect for Sophie and I was sad to see her go. You say she has been offered a scholarship ? Does anybody know where ??
I feel that Leah should have left. Loved Maise and Esme alot. Callum was the worst he doesn't seem that loves musical theater. Well Aladdin has put the cast on the website congrats to Desmonda. she joins Samantha as a Disney Princess. Seriously Power of Love you got to live up to since Back To he Musical in west end and broadway. We need drama now behind the scenes remember it is also a reality show. Amber she is getting very critial, finally bringing american view.
