But why do this temple looks like some western structure rather than a hindu temple.. Their is a lot of significance of temples and their structuresthsy r not mere structure but a whole centre of energy and spirituality.
In Roman era there was no so called western structure all were temples of different Gods and Godesses. All western structures borrowed idea from ancient temples.
I agree. Though this temples is magnificient and is resplendent in colors and patterns it does look a bit western. Hindu temples dont have such kind of architecture. Especially the main dome on the top of the temple. It looks a bit Middle Eastern. Hindu temples have a tall pyramidal structure on top of which there may be a small dome. In North Indian temples there would be a central cylindrical structure which would be tall and have intricate carvings on the exterior. They dont have this type of dome.
The temple should be constructed according to Aagama sastra . This structure doesn't represent the basic principles of aagama sastra. That is why it looks like a show room. Even ayodhya ram temple also didn't look like a temple. What is the use of spending thousands of crores.
The devotional song here...the voice and the musical-composition.... so deeply invokes the Bengali in every Indian.....just the way the lyrical-preachings we hear in the Golden Temple in Amritsar that invoke the Sikh in every Indian....that is where the beauty of our civilisation lies.

Hare Krishna Biman. What you are seeing in the video is only a partial presentation of the temple. So, to answer your question, yes the temple will present Vedic cosmology in various ways. First, there will be a gigantic cosmic chandelier extending down 300' within the main dome. It will be a model of the universe according to the Puranas. Second, the West wing on the temple will house an actual planetarium with seats to view cinematic presentations as well as numerous exhibits on the three levels of the wing. Hare Krishna Nightfury. There are two aspects to the 'planetarium'. One is a gigantic Vedic cosmic, chandelier-like structure hanging 250' down within the main dome. The second is an actual sit-down planetarium with a cinematic show like in most planetariums. Both are within the temple.

I have a question that why the temple is called vedic planetarium. Will this temple give details about vedic astronomy? I appreciate a reply.

Hare Krishna Biman. What you are seeing in the video is only a partial presentation of the temple. So, to answer your question, yes the temple will present Vedic cosmology in various ways. First, there will be a gigantic cosmic chandelier extending down 300' within the main dome. It will be a model of the universe according to the Puranas. Second, the West wing on the temple will house an actual planetarium with seats to view cinematic presentations as well as numerous exhibits on the three levels of the wing.

It is neither Hindu nor Muslim; it is a transcendental offering to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Additionally, to fit a gigantic hanging cosmic chandelier of the universe inside requires some ingenuity.
