I had a horrible experience with Holafly. That is why they are sponsoring a ton of videos because people are switching to others. Horrible service. I end up having to get another sim.
OK, went pretty quick on activation. Where is it that you were setting up which activation provides cell, msgs, etc.? Was that in the Holafly app? Or within the iPhone settings? I want to make sure I properly turn of romaing for my phisical SIM and keep it for HOLAFLY only. Thanks

Not everyone uses iphone,...A video for Android phones would be extremely helpful...or maybe a link to one? Also, are there any alternative options for phones that don't allow these esims to be installed?
We're planning on a trip to Europe so this is very helpful. Once you activate Holafly and we're in Europe can we use it to call back to the States if we need to? Or do we have to switch back to our local carrier (in our case Verizon)? Also how do you know if your iPhone is locked? Thanks for all of your videos Nik and Allie. They've been incredibly helpful!
You can use your phone to call the US with your primary line but you’ll be charged per minute for it. But if you have WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram or whatever chat apps that allow calls you may do so with no charge since it will be using cellular data from Holafly.
To know whether your iphone is locked or not, go to Settings-> General-> About then scroll down till you find “Carrier Lock” It should say No SIM Restriction if your phone is unlocked.

Yes, the person should have WhatsApp as well.
for data only and your settings, with roaming 'off' for the US line, does not mean no calls can come in? how about text messages. I was thinking of just using Holafly data and use WhatsApp for any communication...
When I’m using the automatic install and activate option via the Holafly app, does it change the necessary settings on my phone also automatically?
I did automatic and it switch my primary to off and turned eSIM on automatically. This was not good had to turn it on cause I’m not out of Country yet. Also holafly instructions are so confusing. Even this dudes video on RUclips isn’t matching what customer service told me. I don’t trust this 100%. So to avoid a big bill on my return I and suspending my primary line on the days I’m gone so it will be impossible to use cellular. If I could go back I would probably have done the QR. it may have been more understandable and match what the RUclipsr said
Do you keep the same phone number when using eSIMS? I heard someone say that there can be complications when using two-step verifications with an eSIM. Is that true?
It depends on your regular line and phone. Phones with eSIMs are usually able to use two lines at once.
Doing a river cruise visiting Czechia, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. Assuming the Hola Fly Europe card is best option for multiple countries. Do they offer an option with both Phone and Data?
Be careful. I had a horrible experience with HolaFly. End up having to buy another sim card.

@@aimee0250 Holafly e-sim. Horrible experience. be aware that their support is via WhatsApp - and you need WIFI for that and after hrs of chatting they could not help me and if you get disconnected from the chat, you have to restart through options until reach a representative. Horrible horrible. I had to get another sim card and never got a refund from Holafly. No wonder they are paying influencers.
Great info! This info. will be so helpful for us with our travel to Europe. Greece: Athens, Naxos, Santorini and then to Germany: Dusseldorf and Langeoog. I am assuming the Europe plan will be our best option. Thank you!
Just loaded the Holafly app and unfortuantely Tahiti is not on their list of locations.
