I really like the 10 man content, it's helpful for me because things can be pretty different than 25 in how you have to deal with mechanics, so I'd definitely appreciate more of them :)
This. We're already going to be 6H this week, but Baleroc, Beth, and Domo are the ones which most spring to mind. One of our 7/7H 25man members in our 6H 10man saw how we do 10man with not allowing any abilities to go off because the dps loss per raid member hit is such a higher % of total dps, and he LOVED it.
Great video man! It was very clear and informative. Nice to hear your commentary on the intricacies of the fight. In terms of further videos, I think like many others, a detailed commentary on Baleroc would be very helpful. Specifically, focused on detailed healer commentary. For example, how did your healers decide their healing targets (tank vs. torment healing) at which times, what stacks were they aiming for, how did they handle healing the tank and torment targets during decimation blades, and how did they adjust when they got the tormented debuff. Alongside this, maybe some tips and tricks for the shard soakers that you might know. Another video on Bethilac would be helpful too. A video showing perspective on handling the exploding spiders, small spiderling lane control, and healing during the spinners and exploders (at the same time), would be very helpful.
This is super helpful. Noticing like 3-4 things my guild can change on just normal even right now to better maximize as we build good habits now before H progression.
@ is there any reason your disc just doesn’t stack with the tanks on the far side in P1? Or is he just trying to avoid hand of rag knockbacks when possible?
@@theHOF123 Yea just less chance of chaining a knockback with wrath of rag and also his attonement is hitting everyone regardless of where he is stood, so keeping him over with the tank just worked for us (but defo not a requirement)

Me and my guildies would definitely appreciate some Baleroc vid, we are closing in on it and, i think, will down it this Saturday, but more strats means we are more informed and might do it better/faster. Lastly I was wondering today, I believe blizz said that person who done the Delegation quest (the one where you need to charge fragments with boss mechanics) will be able to open the portal for their raid (bluepost dated 2024/10/15 "How Long Will It Take to Earn Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest in Cataclysm Classic?"), does that mean that for all subsequent staff questline we wouldn't need to do the charging, just go into the portal, slay whatever is there and go ahead looting cinders? Thanks for your content!
Hey, I'll defo do a Baleroc vid tomorrow then. In regards to the delegation quest, yea thats how it should be, i won't know until next week when i can do the charged crystal part but it should only need to be done by 1 person now for each raid team (fingers crossed it works!)
I'm not gunna lie, a guide like this for every boss would be great. My group has 3 downed on heroic already but there could always be an easier way and I'd love to see new ideas or at least maybe cleaner runs than what ours might be. Little things go a long way in 10mans and 25mans don't always work for 10man as easily.

Would be nice to see a Baleroc guide for 10-man with considerations for comps with no Hpals if possible. Pretty much every log i look at is running hpals for that fight, and we don't have access to one at the moment
We run it with a disc priest and resto shaman Offtank gets the first few stacks then main tank blood dk starts solo tanking the rest of the fight, this prevents him from getting stacks too high and having too much health for healers to top off during decimation

I wish world of flames H version was honestly in normal. My only issue with firelands has always been that certain mechanics on heroic or normal are easier or harder vice versa (like shannox dogs extending the fight and having to kill them just making things more annoying). On H rag for me it's world of flames. I find on normal that one set take me out of my zone waiting on the next mechanic because the gap is so long, whereas a multi stage world of flames has you moving and prepared for the mechanics immediately following.
Thanks for the video, I'm interested in why you had the feral do the dreadflame as opposed to the hunter, and why you had the DK DPS taunt the boss into the roots. Is it not possible for the main tank to get away from the boss in time?
Im the DK dps in the vid - we tried it with all different variations during our prog - this way just worked better for us as the feral was better at controlling the fire with dash, cat form etc.. and we left the taunting to me as its barely any downtime in the grand scheme of things and leaves the MT to better position the boss with the different ice patches coming in - its not min-max just works super clean for us
I'm curious, does this strategy where ranged stand off at the far edges to bait Magma Traps work in 25m? or is this just a 10m thing so you don't have to pop the traps and force healers to push and top everyone up?
in the transition when rag shows his legs - the NPC chain of ice it in the intermission - its why you kite it to the entrance during the transition to chain it as far away as possible
Yeah you can drop the talent for longer totems. Don't need that anymore with perma fire ele. I put the extra points in lightning shield for bigger fulminations
It's post nerf Ragnaros, in pre-nerf you couldn't stand in the blue zone more as 3 people. It's a bit sad for me, I would like to do the boss as max difficulty when he cames out.

Run broccoli, easy stacking in that form, spam Regrowth

You say to use frost shock on the living meteor, but how is that chains of ice like effect going on it?
