When I was 15 I stole a bunch of alcohol and walked the streets with a friend. I ended up passing out a few streets over in someone's front yard. My friend made it home after searching for me all night. I woke up in the back of an ambulance. My parents got called and came over furiously. I was in huge trouble and I thought my parents were gonna get rid of me. When I was finally done being hung over I was driving to school with my mom and this song came on. I thought God was done with me at this point in my life. My dad had talked to me about this being the time to be a man.
When I heard this song I cried silently as my mom drove. I hated her and I thought she hated me. I had to wait and see. Today, I love God, love my mom (and my dad), and am so thankful that God wasn't finished with me then. I created a youtube channel that gave me something to live for. I'm so happy that God's not finished with me yet.

I heard this song back in 2010, when I had recently been leaving a depression and attempted suicide. I remember hearing this song while moving to a completely different state and had no idea what would happen to me. I remember blasting this song on my iPod Touch (the old kind) and I really hoped that this move would be the change that my life needed. Nine years later, I currently am the director of the Youth for my church and conference. Honestly, I never knew that I'd follow through to this route of my life, but I always thank God for not having given up on me. I always tell my younger cousins that this song is my favorite because I've lived this song. God Bless You All. :)

Hi Richard, i respect your courage and honesty and I just want to encourage you and say no matter what has happened in your past please don't give up on your past. The worst thing about any kind of sin is not the fact that we obey God but that it robs you of achieving the purpose God created you for. So it's time for you to fight this enemy that wants to rob you of living and win. If you don't mind, may i please suggest a book that might be of help. It's called Deliver Me by Richard Exley. It's probably out of print now but i'm sure you can get a secondhand copy on Amazon. Bless you brother, it will be well with you.

Man sometimes i listen to this song & it literally just breaks me into a million pieces... I suffered from drug addiction/substance abuse/alcoholism for 8 years, despite being raised Christian, i've survived 3 near death experiences (1st one i survived at only 5 years old, i almost died from drowning on my own blood while tied down to a hospital bed, another time i fell 20 feet & didn't break 1 bone), i've survived homelessness, a lifetime of physical, emotional, verbal, & psychological abuse, multiple suicide attempts, depression/anxiety, and alot of other ugly, horrible, nightmarish things that i wouldn't even wish on the Devil himself... But this song hits me hard cause it just reminds me that there IS hope for me... God said he will never leave me, nor forsake me ♥️

Exactly, I can't believe it's been so long. It's one of my all time favourite songs. I am on the bus ride to my PT job, praying for a FT job that will able to offer me sponsorship here in the U.K. And this song started playing in my spirit, I thought I still had it on my phone and was searching. Couldn't find it, so decided to play it on RUclips. Reading People's testimonies is encouraging me.

I fell in love wth this song in 2014 while I was in my high school. This song is like my story I was born in a small health center called Tinsley as a baby I was a sick kid my mum usually tells me that I supposed to be dead but God saved me and while growing up and going to school I was usually being bullied but this song keeps me going now I just completed my uni got a degree and I am currently working looking back I am just so thankful to God for every Journey
I question myself a lot why am I here. but he shows me how much I'm needed here. it's a hard journey. God brings you to it he will bring you through it.

I got into a terrible accident on July 31st that nearly took my life. As I was being rushed to the hospital in the ambulance, I started tearing up from the realization that God wasn’t finished with me yet and these lyrics popped into my head. This song has always helped me keep my head up
God is always there for you... No matter what. He will help you through all you difficulties, bear all of your pain. I witnessed that firsthand, moving away from all of my friends, just when I was going into middle school. I was knocked, from what I considered the most happy time of my life until then. I had a whole group of friends I always would hang out with, even this girl I liked for awhile, and we were outside everyday for 4 hours. It was the cloud nine of my life to the point. I didn't know what to do when I reached my new home. But I'd always pray to Christ for strength. God brought me here for a reason. It's been two and half years, and I feel like once again, I'm on cloud nine. All of my new friends are so supportive. And if I'm once again uprooted, just about when I'm about to enter high school, God will help me through it. He is all powerful; he loves you, and will never abandon you. Jesus died on the cross for you, because he loved you, never forget that!
At 15 I almost drowned
At 17 I drove down an icy country road doing 70, wrecked the car but not a scratch on me.
At 23 I drove over 45 miles drunk and have no memory of the trip
At 26 I hit a tree that had fallen into the road, branch went thru the windshield missing my head by an inch or 2, shattered glass in my eyes kept me from opening them. I felt my way out tried to open my eyes again and not one piece was in my eyes.
THANK YOU GOD IN HEAVEN for not being done with me. Praise you and your son Jesus.

I came to faith in Jesus as a senior in high school. Everyone knew I had made a commitment to Christ. I did it in my lunch hour in the back of a cheerleaders pick up truck. My peers mocked me I did not care I was ready for my life to change for the better.

Nobody knows what God has in store for us, and we just have to wait. It's just one of those things that can't be questioned. If it is questioned, you won't really get an answer for it. I'm surrounded by constant argument in my family that I normally get dragged in to, and I'm not easily noticed in school. So when I think "Why am I here? What am I doing here?" I then answer myself with "So long as I'm alive, God has given me a purpose."
I love this song so much, i think i broke the replay button. Everytime I watch this, I smile as i watch all those kids see their future and all the adults either see their future or their ppast. I know God isn't finished with me yet, and thats what i love. God has my whole life planned out for me to wait and see. I can't wait to live the rest of my life!

I love this song. God definitely wanted me in this world. I almost died when I was born. I shouldn't have survived, but He had a plan. My cord was wrapped three times around my neck, suffocating me. Flash forward 23 years, I was just placed for student teaching at the Church I grew up in. I should have student taught last semester but numerous challenges arose and I had to repeat my 90 hours. Had I not, I would not be where I am now. God is definitely up to something!

This song came on KLOVE as I was turning the station from the song Birthday Sex on the popular station. Never went back, have kept it on KLOVE ever since. Helped change my life and my eight year old insists on the Christian stations, Way to go Brandon for helping bring God back to my daily attention instead of just Sundays.

This song touches me in the deepest way, this song in every word describes my life I was born july 25th and had meningitis, I should have died that day and I grew up in Hendersonville TN. and everything else in the song describes me to the letter. IM most of those thing like i not good in school,broke rules, and I had THREE DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES. At home ill be a thief, lier , and lazy; at school ill be this trouble maker, didnt care about anything; at church ill be this perfect little angel (well im pretty tall for my age) that says prayers, take cares of kids, ANd etc. But my point is that this song made me choose one of those lives and it was christ. we all go through struggles and it may be God putting you through them to see if you are faithful to Him. Look at Job he literally lost it all and through that kept his faith and after his struggles God blessed him abundantly. It's easy to think that trials we go through are caused by satan, but did you ever think that God is putting you through them to test your faith? Hang in there I'm in a pickle myself now also.
