You had me laughing at the one garage sale that had piles and piles of stuff, "this is where you find the good stuff and get diseases". 😂 Little did you know what was to come... Thanks for sharing! God bless, Kim
The house at the 1:30 mark used to be my brother inlaws. he moved in the early 2000's. He used to call Lynchburg "Lunchbag". No idea why it's just something I remember.
I really like digging through those old hoarder piles. I've pulled out some really cool stuff. Most resellers look at those piles, and don't want anything to do with them, but that's where you find the old lunchboxes and 80s toys. The usually need a lot of cleaning, but you get it so cheap that you don't even care.
You remind me of myself so much lol “This is messed up, but I’m still gonna get it.” I once said to my husband, “Hey babe, look at this desk.” And he replied, “It’s missing a leg.” And without missing a beat I was like, “But it’s free.” Lol 😂 Needless to say the desk stayed there lol
I do pick up those Bath & Body Works lotions if they are mostly full (you picked up a couple right near the end). Some of the scents are limited and people really like them. I typically sell them for $10-$20 depending on the scent. You can usually get them for 25 or 50 cents.
I hope you put the rest of those caps back in the cap box instead of leaving them in the shoe box. For some reason I've become acutely aware of stuff like that and have only seen one thrifter put things back consistently. That big bag of "look at all of that," would be perfect for Matt (PTP). Nice score at that last place ($5 for all). Please don't paint the natural wood (just my preference). Sadly, I didn't see anybody wearing masks at that one, or was this recorded before the virus? Fun, as always.
Just encountered another scammer who bought the Panasonic Blue Line VCR my wife bought yesterday. Do you ever encounter these? Purchased by an apparent drop-shipper. Lots of feedback and Ebay member since 2006. His userid showed that he only leaves negative feedback on others that all say the similar story of not getting item, item broken, etc. The shipping address was to someone with a different name. When I typed the shipping address into Google Earth, it came back showing that it's an open field in farm country in Delaware. The address also has zero hits on any other websites (Zillow and other real estate sites). So I sent him a message that I was cancelling the order because the address he gave doesn't exist. I blocked him also. Something similar happened with the last Panasonic Blue Line I sold and had to do a similar cancel.
@@CommonwealthPicker To droppshippers who only give negative feedback? To addresses that don't exist on Google Maps, Google Earth or any other internet search site? After cancelling the sale, it sold again to a dropshipper. But this dropshipper has no red flags and the address is to a florist in San Francisco. With both of the 99% sure scam sales of VCRs, both were to the other side of the country with maximum shipping costs. If they're going to scam to get the money back, they don't care about shipping cost. And a higher shipping cost is leverage for me not wanting to pay for a return.
My grandfather would use spray paint and when the cans would be done he would pop a hole in the bottom to get the marble out of the can. Needless to say once one can had pressure and sprayed black paint all over. But when he passed I grabbed the collection of the marbles.
You just have to make sure there is no aerosol in the can or you will make a mess. Everything within a 5 foot radius was speckled with black paint specks. They were some cool marbles in those cans. Nice cats eyes and such.

The yellow sweatshirt !! Yugio??
Not sure.
That Fable game I would have picked up

I would say that 50 percent of the vcr's I sell are to dropshippers.
