Yes, I've got it too. I can either use a Gecko code to get to the track but then no controls work or use another one to access the attract mode, but it's slightly buggy, which then launches into the how to play the game attract mode.
@@MrThunderwing is there any chance you could give the origin of the gecko codes, I've got the iso for a long long while but I would love to see this running and maybe if I learn a bit how it works i could try hooking up my steering wheel
Have you tried Googling for this information? It'd probably be a lot easier for you to find it that way than for me to try and remember how I can access it. I set this up a very long time ago...

There is no AX (as in the full ROM) hidden in GX. The only thing that was left from AX was the AX modes that are necessary for some story mode missions. AX and GX are very different games in terms of physics and other features - AX also has better quality graphics compared to GX due to the RAM upgrade on Sega Triforce, the arcade hardware that AX runs on.
I always love how certain parts of the Internet get so analy retentive about this. I _did_ mention in the description that this isn't the _true_ version of F Zero AX, but to say that there's no version of it inside GX is just ridiculous though. Aside from the slight differences in the game's physics, it is to all extents and purposes AX, right down to the title screen, the cabinet warning screen, the ship select, game over screens and the in game timer. You even get the screens at the end where it's trying to reward you with exclusive arcade content on your memory card. The real arcade version of AX _doesn't_ have better graphics than GX. The _actual_ F-Zero AX arcade rom can be run on a softmodded Wii. If the Triforce hardware was superior due to extra ram and equalled better graphics a software mod alone wouldn't let you run the game. You'd need to actually physically solder extra ram into the console, the same way that you have to, to run a Chihiro arcade game on a modded original Xbox.
