I'm in love with the fact that Freakazoid stopped everything just to go tell a man in Tibet to stop raking. How did he even hear that from where he was?
You got to have the best hearing in existence to hear that from over 7,600 miles eastbound from Washington to what I presume the the Himalayan Mountains in Tibet.
Freakazoid was one of the best cartoons that I've ever had the honor and privilege of growing up with. The show was way ahead of its time and incredibly funny, too. It's a shame they don't make cartoons like this anymore. Still a great show, nonetheless.
@@Starslothh It isn't, this show fits perfectly with our modern sense of humor but they don't make cartoons like this anymore despite the fact that there's a lot of people that like this content and it has aged well

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Freakazoid was inspired by a DC character called The Creeper who appeared in an episode the New Batman Adventures.

One thing I always loved about Freakazoid as a kid, his ability to move fast on his feet like Sonic the Hedgehog. But one thing that always bothered me ... why the hell does he need the car called the Freakmobile if he can run that fast? He almost never runs fast like this, he always uses the bloody car, it makes no sense.
obijuanrose If you had a car then you would. But it's like saying that to Superman, Flash or even Sonic. They get to places faster by using their abilities like this, plus it's one of their powers so you'd expect to see them use their powers. It's like Superman riding a bike or catching a bus or cab to get to where he needs to be in an emergency. Doesn't make any sense. Picking up girls is one thing, but having powers like that would probably impress a girl more than a simple car. The car I can understand with the secret identity thing, but not when he's the superhero. I mean, if it's something like Batman who has no powers and relies on equipment and vehicles and so on then it makes sense. Freakazoid has the power of speed on his feet that moves faster than the car, if he was taking the car to Tibet then he'd be driving there until the end of the show (season even) as opposed to running at the speed of sound like he does here to get there fast.
Yeah, but still ... even if he's crazy. He's still got that ability. Crazy doesn't mean stupid with the inability to remember the fact that he has a useful power like that. I know I sound like I might be rambling about something so small, but being a Sonic fan and seeing this, it just seems like a complete waste of potential. It's like watching Flash or Superman in the DC universe who just treat everything like a joke all the time, don't take anything seriously and don't even bother using the abilities they have. Don't get me wrong though, I totally understand the side this show is going for. Cartoony with the Mask kinda feel, I get it but there doesn't feel like a legit and reasonable balance between serious and goofy in this Freakazoid like there is in the cartoon series of the Mask.
There IS a similarity, but the concepts are different. They both are crazy personas of nerds, but one: Freakazoid is all Blue and the Mask has only his face Green. Two: The whole word of Freakazoid is crazy, while the Mask is almost the only source of crazyness of his world.
