I completed the course about a month ago and have some tips. Don’t worry about the tread, it’s by far the easiest. Mainly focus on the 300 and the brick test. If you can, do the 300 and tread before so you know you can do it. The brick test is the only part that you can screw up on after that. Good luck
@@bentolman4695 yea I’m kind of nervous about tomorrow. I run out of breath fast with the front crawl. Once I knock that out of the way breast stroke is easy.
Went from not being able to tread for 2 seconds a few days ago to now brining able to tread for a minute and 19 seconds. Got the test tmr wish me luck guys 🤞🏾

I swam for ten minutes today and swam 3,000 yards so I think I’ll be fine in the 300. I have to do this this Saturday. Hope I pass

@@LifeofAdamI passed deep water man thanks for your help with these videos. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without them.
For the 300 meter swim can you wear goggles?
Yes u can
for the 300m can you push off of the end wall when you get there?
Yes u can
Wait we have to do this RIGHT after the 300 yard swim?
Yes, it’s typically 2-5 minutes after
@@LifeofAdam I did it! It was fine. Actually harder because I had to do open water not just pool lifeguard training. So we had to do 550 yards.
Can your ears go under water? Like if you keep your mouth nose and eyes above water but your ears go under is that okay?
I would play it safe and avoid anything above your chin being submerged. You would prob get away with it, but It’s not worth the risk
